Hi, We are going to WDW on December 4th to 11th!!! :jumping1:

I want to use our Disney Visa Reward for some of the cost. Also, how much do they cost? We are DVC members. There are conflicting prices between WDW official site and other Disney info sites :confused3 . We want to purchase the Non-premium pass. I was thinking the customer service at Downtown Disney would be a good place. What do you all think?
Thanks, Beth

IMHO, the Guest Relations office in the MarketPlace section of Downtown Disney is a very good place to buy your DVC-discounted annual pass - especially if you want to use your Disney VISA Rewards to pay for part of it.

There are other good places - like the IG entance to EPCOT, but it can be a pain if there is someone waiting in line behind you. It can take longer than other people like to wait for the CM to finish up with you, LOL. At least if you are in Downtown Disney, there won't be people chomping at the bit to get into the park!

Anyway - the price for the annual pass with the DVC discount is approximately $315, including tax.

Best wishes -

We did ours over at AK in August and it took all of 5 - 10 mins tops for me and my family of 5.

Can I jump in and ask if I am trading/upgrading 5 day passes to non-premium APs w/DVC discount, should I still go to DTD?

Thanks!

I would if it were me. But you don't have to go there - you can go to any Guest Relations location to do the upgrade.

I'd just rather go somewhere where I wouldn't feel so bad if people were waiting behind me in line. Upgrading/getting dollar credit, paying with Disney Visa rewards, proving you are qualified for the DVC discount all take time. Sometimes people who just want to buy a ticket are not very patient with the person who chooses to do a fairly complicated transaction at the park ticket booths. JMHO. YMMV.

Best wishes -

P.S. I also happen to think the the DD CMs are very knowledgable and also very nice to deal with.

I called member services and got my annual pass voucher. You know that DVC members get $100 off each annual pass? If you call them and place it on your Disney Visa you get the points and the discount.
