Hi,

Well it looks like I will beable to take advantage of my AP one more time before it expires on Feb 25, 2006. I will be vacationing at WDW Feb 11-21 :bounce: , but can't decide where I should stay. It's just myself going so I can stay anyplace which is going to make planning this really fun. I am thinking $300 a night is about where my budget is at for this trip since I already have my air and tickets taken care of.

I stayed at CBR in Feb and would like to stay at a Deluxe resort this time around.

I am wide open for suggestions so lets hear them.

GF and have a spa day on your trip too. I'd say join us over at POFQ but our family might scare you....Being a bunch of loud New Yawkers (LOL) and all. So stay at GF and then tell me all about it as I won't get to stay there any time soon.

Just Curious - where in Cancun are you staying? My in-laws just bought a timeshare at Royal Resorts Haciendas just outside Cancun and we are going in November.

Drizzo67,

I would love to stay at GF, but it doesn’t come up as being available under the BRP. As far as Cancun goes, I’m staying Nov 17-25 at the Golden Crown Paradise Club.

Did you already purchase your airfare? If not, the GF is available the 10-20 at BRP rate. $3222.40 inc. tax for 10 nights.

Keeping your budget in mind. I think your deluxe options would be WL, AK and SS. Epcot resorts are more than $300 night using BRP and so are GF and Poly. I quickly checked BRP for the three options in your budget. You could get a courtyard view at WL, a Sav. view at AK and a studio at SS all for about $3,000. I guess it would depend upon your personal preferences. You could always do a split stay to try out different resorts! Let us know what you are leaning toward.

I will be there for a few days in Feb too with my DD6, a friend and her DD13! Just decided to fit in another visit from the 15 - 18th. I had a few points left over for the year so we are staying in a studio at BCV. Only bummer is that our AP's expire on the 7th! You could also look into renting points from a DVC member.

Tinkbellfan,

I was able to pull of a gardenview rate of 273.18 a night a Poly and a 243.5 rate a night at Contemp.

I'm a big Polynesian fan but if I was in WDW alone I think I'd rather stay near the action - Epcot resorts. Then you could stroll around Epcot or the Boardwalk at night. BC is available for your stay at BRP for $2620. Since you'll be there 11 days you could split your stay too.

Great - I went back to BRP website and got the same numbers. All I can think of is that I went onto FLA rate instead of BRP. I was getting some info for my parents who are FLA residents. Ooops - sorry. Poly would then be my vote between those two. If possible, a few days in an Epcot resort would be highly recommended! The Boardwalk area and Epcot resorts are a destination in themselves.
