Where should I pop the question!?

I got married in the Wedding Pavillion almost 10 yrs ago. For our first anniversary I surprised my husband with a private cruise to watch the fireworks. I remember thinking what an awesome way to get proposed to! GOOSEBUMPS! It would definitely be memorable~!

Hi there!

I'm yet to start my own PJ, but I got engaged Dec 23 2009 on a private fireworks cruise during Holiday Wishes!

It was very sweet and romantic, and I loved it, but I must admit that I knew what was going to happen as soon as I found out that we were going on a fireworks cruise...just for us!

We are not usually big spenders, so when I realized he had rented out the whole boat, I knew this had to be the big night!

The captain knew what was happening because my DF had ordered champagne and this lovely little baby from Disney floral (http://www.disneyflorist.com/produc...st-engagement-fairytale-slipper-tiara/display) so he was just awaiting the cue to uncover them. He played it cool and was very nice.

Still, there was a little awkwardness between all of us when DF handed his camera to the captain and then got down on one knee right in front of me/captain.

I wouldnt change how any of it unfolded, but I thought I'd give you a little real life insight from my experience. It certainly makes for a cool story and mostly everyone drools over it when they hear it, but depending on how much of a surprise you want it to be, how much you want to spend, and how you feel about the captain's involvement, it may or may not be for you!

okay, so @ the moment im a bit 2 young 2b propossed 2 ...but 4 some reason this subject came up w my dad @ wdw 2 weeks ago. we were eating at the california grill, and imo that would be perfect! during the fireworks is cute, but only if you like attention, because there will b lots of people around. my ideal proposal would b 2 treat her 2 a nice dinner and suggest you go out on the balcony after dessert 4 a second look @ the view...

UPDATE:

Hello everyone! Our time at Disney World was amazing, even though we were there during record low temperatures in Janurary. I have pictures that I will put up ASAP, I think I might have to get my post count up or something though. I took her on a private boat at the Grand Floridian, and I asked her right near the end of Wishes which we had a perfect view of. I'll copy/paste what my fiancee said about it from her facebook.

"It was beautiful! Thank you. He rented a boat our last night on the lake outside Magic Kingdom to watch the fireworks. We had a driver who took us on a small tour of the lake before the show.

At 8:00 the fireworks started, the driver had parked the book giving us a beautiful view of Cinderella's Castle. The boat even played the music from the show through its speakers, so we didn't miss a beat.

Near the end of the show, Josh asked me to stand up so the driver could take a picture of us together. After giving the camera to our driver. Josh reached into his pocket and pulled out a taco Bell packet. Now, for any of you that don't know. Taco bell packets have little sayings on them. Josh and I used to give these back and forth to each other. He would always give me the "can I scratch your back" (something like that) and I would always give him the "will you marry me" for fun of course. So when he pulled out the packet, I knew exactly what it was. At this time he got down on one knee and asked me outloud. I started bawling immediately. (He had also timed it perfectly with the finale of the fireworks)...

It was absolutely perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything better! "

Congrats to you! My FI proposed to me in October on a specialty cruise during the fireworks. It was truly magical. Congrats again! The ring is beautiful!

The safari ride was my favorite ride in all of Disney World. 3 hours before our plane ride back up north, I ran, literally ran through Animal Kingdom to ride it one more time. Our driver for the most part was pretty silly haha, he was a slightly bigger fellow with a very theatrical voice. He also sounded a little bit like Shaggy from Scooby Doo.
