Where or where to find Melody?

Any idea if there is still any Melody merchandise out there (Melody being Ariel's daughter). We got Little Mermaid II from the library and now my 3 year old is ga-ga over Melody. I checked ebay, but I am bidding against collectors willing to pay top dollar for mint condition dolls. I just want a little figure she can play with. I'm even considering taking one of her Ariel dolls and coloring its hair brown and painting its fin orange. Anyone have any info that would spare me the art project (because I don't think it will be a very pretty Melody once I'm done with it).

I have been searching, too, as my daughter is convinced that Melody is a princess! We are going to February and I am trying to convince her that we probably won't see Melody... she doesn't believe me.

If I find any merchandise, I will post and follow up to this post. Because I know, if it is there to be found, we will hopefully find it.

A friend said that the Disney store told her that Little Mermaid I was being re-released in October 06, so maybe there is hope for LMII in 07!

Hey dizpals -- I had purchased a Melody from Toys R Us years ago when LM2 came out. Gave it to my niece. Shoulda kept it, as I collect extremely hard to find Disney dolls. Duh... Hopefully they'll bring her back. PS - I used to be a CM at TDS, and the Melody barbie was the only Melody item we sold from that movie.

I couldn't find a "Melody" Barbie-size doll, but did a little bit of searching around on the 'Net and found a smallish (maybe 3 or 4 inches?) PVC Melody figurine at this website...

I also looked to see if there were any deals on "Melody" dolls...Yikes! I had *NO* idea they were so expensive.

Awesome work agnes!. My daughter loves "little guys" as much as barbies. That little figurine is perfect (and extremely cheap compared to the barbie version!). Thanks for the info!
