Those of you that don't have a dedicated office...what room shares it?

We're still trying to figure out where to move ours - it's been in dd's room - but I'm afraid I'm waking her up - she squirms quite a bit when I print late at night...

and I need quite a bit of space with 2 printers...& then I have a 4 drawer file cabinet I need as well

UGH! WE need a BIGGER house!

The family computer is in the family room, in a corner. I want my kids where I can watch them;)
My computer is on my lap:)

Our desktop is in the spare room, with a bed, an armoire, a bookcase and a ton of crap.

The laptop is usually on the kitchen table.

We have ours in the living room. I am a multi-tasker...I must watch TV while I type.

For the desktop we have a oak computer cabinet in the family room. There are doors that shut to hid everything. It's big enough for the computer, printer and several drawers for my household files.

The laptops (3 of them) are all over the house.

On my lap.

In the living room, usually. When it's not on my lap it lives on the coffee table.

We also have a desktop in the living room which DH and DD8 share. (Although she prefers my MacBook if I'm not using it. Smart girl.)

DD15's MacBook is usually in her room, although she'll frequently bring it out to the living room.

DS17 has a desktop and printer in his room. If DD or I need to print we take our laptop into his room and print on his printer. We rarely print, though.

The "family" computer is in the front room, we can see it from the family room. We have it set up so we can keep an eye on what the kids are doing. It's also set up so I can be on it and watch the tv at the same time:thumbsup2 The lab top is sitting in the conner, it hasn't gotten much use lately, it needs some updating!

At the lake - in my kitchen/living area..

At my DD's - in my bedroom..

In our computer room. I'd love a lap top so we can call our computer room something else! :)

We have one in the living room, and one in my son's room. Everyone always fights over the one in the living room and I dont know why? the one in my son's room is newer and faster.

Right between my legs, on a homemade laptop stand.

We got a huge kitchen,we keep it in there in a corner. This way I can see what sites my kids go on!!

In our bedrooms. My son doesn't have any internet access, and my daughter's is filtered and shuts off at the router at night so she can't stay up/get up late and get on the computer. My husband's is usually set up out in the (attached) garage when he is home, but right now it is in the storage shelves so I can use that table space for scrapbooking. The laptop usually lives at the dining room table.

Not much help here. It's just DH and I and our home has 3 bedrooms so we dedicated one of the bedrooms as an office. Both of our desks and computers are in there.

in the corner of our bedroom - in a 1 BR condo, there aren't many options.

In the parlor, now don't laugh!!! It is a small room when you walk in, and I allow people to sit in here. DD has a laptop, Dh has me check his email:laughing:

The one I use is in the kitchen. It's not ideal and I want to move it, but I'm not sure where I would go with it.
DH and DB have theirs in a "bedroom" (It's barely big enough for a twin bed so it became the computer room. It's not big enough to fit a third desk, so it's their hideaway.
DD has a computer in her room, but she needs a desk. For now she and I share this one.
