where is the RSR fast pass distribution area?

You're welcome, but truthfully...I had from a while ago when someone else was asking about the RSR FP location and line (back when they used to formally allow guests to line up pre-park opening).

so I'm confused though... this location seems very logically on the way to the ride, wouldn't taking route 66 down to the ride be the fastest way to RSR? why do people say it is inconvenient? (Sorry the last time I was at DCA was in '07)

I think for the guests coming into the park from the main entrance, it's on the way to Carsland. If you're coming from the GCH entrance, it's a longer walk (depending on the route, you may have to pass by Carsland first). I suppose it might also be inconvenient for those that do not know where it is and head straight to the ride to find out it's not there!

Yeah I think figment is right. This probably irritates people who don't know. Originally they built a FP distribution area next to the ride. It was never used because of crowding and has now been turned into retail space. I like where the FP location is. That way you don't have to go all the way through Carsland to get your FP. It's actually in a very convenient place.
