Where is the buffet

I have been looking at deck plans for the Wish and one thing I have not been able to find is a buffet like Cabanas. Can anyone tell me on what deck and is it aft or forward?

You cannot find it because they are releasing details little by little. Nothing has been said about the theming of the buffet, so it’s not named on the deck plan, but it is clearly on deck 11 aft.

Thanks, I noticed a large space that I thought would probably be it, but didn't want to assume.

I know what “walk-up dining” means in the parks, but I’m fuzzy on how that term applies to Marceline Market. “Free-flow food hall” and “walk-around dining”?

Is it a buffet where you serve yourself? Then just call it a “buffet”.

Or is it cafeteria-style where you are served at each station? Then tell us it’s “cafeteria-style.”

Cabanas isn't a buffet right now either.

Whether it is a buffet with pods or a cafeteria with pods, it sounds like it's going to be similar to RCCL and Celebrity in their similar venue. It's pods/stations set up each with various things (a bread station, a pizza station, a grill station, etc.) and you go from pod/station to pod/station depending on what you want.

Google Royal Caribbean Windjammer Cafe or Celebrity Ocean View Cafe for an idea. It's a simple concept and much better than the line-up at Cabanas.

I was wondering if walk up dining was quick service places like what’s on the pool deck. I know Virgin switched to that instead of a buffet, but I think Dug720’s explanation makes sense

I prefer the pod concept as well. I’m actually intrigued at how they are going to incorporate the different storytelling in each “stall”.

I was just noting that they were somewhat vague in whether you are served or serve yourself. I wonder if that was deliberate, given current circumstances.

Frankly, I'd like a little bit of both. If things are prepped/wrapped - just stop by and pick them up. If you want something specific or with changes, they quick make it and serve you. That's what my company has done in the cafe in our new building, and I think it has worked pretty well.

“Buffet-teria” style was my interpretation where each station would be themed to a different story

Let's just hope the food is better than the Windjammer. We were on Oasis in January, and... well, not impressed... I have heard Celebrity is good. Our favorite buffet is on Regal Princess. There's one they can emulate.

Interesting that some mention "food hall". I wonder if they are going the route of Virgin Voyages and their "galley" concept. Instead of a buffet, they have a number of different "quick service, cook to order" locations. Virgin's food was amazing. Best we've had on any cruise.
