Where is the best place to buy unique magic bands?

I’m thinking of buying magic bands for my up coming trip in person instead of online. Would the resorts or in a theme park have the best selection to choose from? And if it’s inside the parks how do I get in without the magic band?

Thanks! Not sure we’ll make it over to Disney springs. Do the parks have a similar selection in each park or does magic kingdom have the best selection? We’re going into Hollywood studios first, but are staying at the contemporary so wouldn’t be hard to park hop over to magic kingdom to get one there

It's extremely hit and miss right now due to inventory problems. It's entirely possible that the Contemporary gift shop has just as much selection as any of the options I listed on a given day. If you're going to Studios first, they'd probably be in Mickey's of Hollywood.

Online inventory is even worse.

If you see something you like, buy it immediately because it might not be there the next day.

In addition to suggestions above, you can also bring magic band(s) from previous trips as long as they are still active under your profile (which they would be unless you specifically went in and deactivated them).

Unfortunately can’t do that. I went in and deactivated all my old ones. We haven’t been in the parks since 2019 and then moved so I figured it was easier to just throw them all out. So have to buy something for this trip
