Where is the best burger in WDW?

The OP wants to pay OOP for a burger, so the Dolphin Fountain is a viable option.

OP - Check out Briar Rosie's trip report if you want to see a picture of the Dolphin Fountain burger.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. I swear one of these days I'll need to wash my eyeballs.

My pic of the burger at The Fountain is in the link in my signature for the "Nosh" food report in progress.

I do think it surpassed the Beaches and Cream burger, and I used to love the burgers there.

ESPN gets my vote. Love Beaches 'n Cream too. Hard to get into though. I wish that they had more tables.

I did a thread like this a few years ago. I always stuck with cosmic rays...eh. So I was told about sci-fi, B and C...etc. After last years trip...I think...I changed my answer to Le Cellier (but really...who goes there for a burger other than me...). So as of right now my new answer is Sci-Fi. I like to consider myself a burger expert :) not to brag or anything...lol...but in Disney i usually go nuts with them (cosmic rays, electric umbrella (CR's > EU...fyi), wherever else theres burgers) even though this year i found amazing chicken nuggets...ya im a 20 year old 3 year old. So uhhhh...ya...I'm goin with Sci-Fi for now. Oh there was an ok one in AK in Africa at that little place with the "good eats" sign across from the buffet.

It's not in the parks, but Evergreens at Shades of Green has great burgers, or at least they did the last time we were there three years ago! Anyone can go to Evergreens, even if you are not eligible to stay at SoG. It's in the back of the resort, by the Mickey pool.

i am a burger guy myself.. i tried beaches and cream on my last trip after hearing all about them and they were average at best IMO.. my vote defintiely goes for espn club

Wife and I agree PECOS BILLS. We love their burgers, and the place itself.

While I like Beaches and Cream, their burgers are cooked on a grill--not char grilled--which is my preference. I really like the Sand Trap at Osprey Ridge golf course next to Fort Wilderness. Not many people talk about it but I think their lunch is fantastic!

Nobody mentioned the Grand Floridian lobster burger? I was thinking about trying one of these on my next trip.

Our family would also vote for the Burgers at Beaches & Cream, as it looks like many others have. There is limited seating though and the window service is just for ice cream. My advice is to go early or late, because if you go at normal lunch times, you'll be sitting around for awhile with a beeper in your pocket. The atmosphere is colorful and fun too. A silver lining of us not using the dining plan any more is that we are back to eating at Beaches & Cream more often (it's on the plan, but a waste of a TS credit).

I have not tried all of the ones that have been voted for, so now I have a new "to do" list.

If your looking for a decent burger at CS we always go to Pecos Bills in MK.

There are probably better burgers in some of the TS resturants, but thats something I cant comment on, because we always on the dining plan and there is no way I would wast a table service credit on a burger.
Just my opinion. :goodvibes

Thanks for mentioning Evergreen's. I didn't know anyone could go there - how does one get into SoG without military credentials? (I have a CaC card, so getting into the resort had never been an issue for me, even though I don't stay there.)
