In terms of quantity and variety, especially old school games like Ms Pacman, Frogger, Galaga etc..

Looking at some of the pics of these arcades onsite they look kinda weak:(

I'm not sure if they have many of the old games, but the arcade at the Contemporary is huge and has a lot of variety. They have several pinball machines, so I think they might have some of the games you listed.

Contemporary has a large arcade. Disney Quest has the most old games but you have to pay to get in but then the games are free.

Contemporary has a nice size arcade. Ms Pacman was there last month...and I think Donkey Kong....some pinball...lots of games like skeeball where you can win tickets for prizes.
Pool table, air hockey as well.

Cool, Contemporary it is. I stayed there 20 years ago and thought it was huge, but I was afraid I was only seeing it through a child's eye. I will check it out again:)

Hubby is a big arcade fan and LOVED the one at the Contemporary! He got carried away collecting tickets!

You could always venture over to DisneyQuest...a little more $ than what you'd spend in the arcade at the resort, but all of the old school games you want there (free with admission) in addition to all of the new and exciting games/attractions DQ has to offer.

Another vote for Contemporary. My DS12 LOVED this arcade. I loved the fact that we could put a certain amount on a card, and all he had to keep track of is the card not tokens. We also are BIG fans of Disney Quest.

Have fun!

pop century also has an excellent arcade... at least according to my 10/8 year olds! LOL! they liked it much better than POFQs and when we visited the contemporary, they said pops was better... pop also gives tickets to trade in for prizes (POFQ did not) which definitely raises it up a notch in their opinions! LOL!

According to my resident 14 year-old video game expert, the arcade at the Contemporary (part of the "Food and Fun Center" -- there's a food court, too) is the best one of the luxury hotels. But he still ranks it as "OK."

Disney Quest is the best thing he's ever done at Disney. He loves almost everything there. The only disappointment he had was that thing where you design your own rollercoaster and then get in a simulator and ride it. He really likes it, but wanted to design a coaster that crashed( :confused3 ), which it won't let you do.

(Disney Quest is a rather confusing and overwhelming experience if you're not a video game fan.)

The arcade at the Contemporary has changed a lot in 20 years. I can remember as a child there was a shooting gallery there just like the one in Frontierland. In 2003 I went there looking for that shooting gallery at the Contemporary and to my dismay it was removed several years ago.

Another vote for the Contemporary -- my dd5 and dd7 would of lived there if we let them!

If you want an arcade, you MUST visit DQ! You can play all of the old classics, witout having to insert quarters wach time, plus there are a number of VR games.

Another vote for the Contemporary  :Pinkbounc

Count me in on the contemporary arcade. I remember the first years it was open....vagely(sp.). Have pictures of it though. The first memories was when I was five and they used to have a small theater in the back left for resort guest that showed disney cartoons and features daily.
