Ok, so you're a bad mother! Shame on you! Do you feel like part of the in-crowd now? I'm a bad mom too, heck even my daughters told me last night that I'm a mean Mom. (they were joking....I think )

Reminds me of my DS4. When he gets punished or yelled at for doing something wrong, he will pout and say, "I don't like you anymore." Before that it was "I don't love you anymore". It's real hard to stifle a laugh, but my response to that comment is, "You may not like/love me, but I will always love you and that will never change."

Just skimmed through that thread and stood up for you. I have no patience for those spineless perfect mommies. Plus nobody with such a pretty siggie picture derserves that kind of treatment Here's what I had to say...

Oh don't even get me started Ms-I-Wont-Humiliate-My-Child. You know what's embarassing - SUMMERSCHOOL. Or how about failing a grade?

If my DS accused me of embarassing him by walking him into the school to get the work he should have gotten himself, I'd promptly respond with "you SHOULD be embarassed mister. And if you think this is embarassing, wait til your classmates go to 9th grade without you." In fact, I have said that!

That's life man. If/when he gets a job and gets fired for not doing his work...dangit, that's embarassing.

I got that from DS4 a little while ago, He got in trouble at school today for sticking his tongue out at the teacher and telling her "NO" when the teacher told him to do something. I told him no tv or computer and no outside time, just books and coloring and quiet time in his room this afternoon....

HE let me know he doesnt like my anymore either Maybe next time he will remember to keep that tongue in his mouth
