My daughter is Olaf-crazy and would just die to meet her favorite character. Where can you find Olaf in the parks for a character greeting? Does he appear with Anna / Elsa? Where can one find Olaf for meet and greet at any of the parks?

Thanks!!

I met him today in California Adventure. Unfortunately that's the only place you can meet him right now.

My 72-year old Mom is a little bummed that she can't meet Olaf too. He's the best!

I cant work out why he isnt doing meet and greets at WDW.

Is it because the lines would be crazy like they are for Elsa and Anna as it international guests that come from all over where as he can do meet and greets in Disneyland as it is more of a local park?

In 1 word, yes.
In my opinion they would be even worse than for the sisters

Thanks for confirming.

Maybe the reason as why they have him at Disneys California Adventure as alot of locals go so when the locals have met Olaf they might not feel the need to meet him again the next time they visit. Or if they do want to meet him again it wouldnt be high on their list as they have already met him as opposed to an international visitor.
Hope that makes sense.

I met Olaf in the first hour of opening and it was only a 10 minute wait and that included him going on a break.

I would hope that the answer would eventually be he will be a meet and greet at Norway along with A&E. To be honest, this is such a cheap easy attraction, I don't understand why you don't make multiple rooms to meet A&E and Olaf to double your capacity. Separate your lines, get creative in your queues and boom, double the capacity of that ride. You already have multiple resources for each of these roles anyway so it really shouldn't be that big a realism change. No one complains about multiple Mickey's or Minnies out. In addition, the only reason to remove A&E at MK (even if you have at Epcot) is if the demand no longer supports multiple locations to visit. When the next big thing comes along that is a bigger draw then A&E, then you can shut down the MG at MK and repurpose the space. This is a great, quick, cheap way for Disney to build a capacity spunge attraction to offset growth. If you have 2 MG rooms at Epcot and demand falls, shut one down and only utilize 1 of them.

I didn't know he wasn't at WDW. We met him 3 weeks ago at Disney's California Adventure and literally walked into the line and up to meet him late afternoon.

That is what they do now with Tink, Mickey, A&E, Cindy and Rapunzel (shhhh... Disney secret)

It's truly amazing how different characters are received in CA vs. FL
I'm not sure there is ever a character, no matter how commonly found, you can walk up and meet, with no wait, at WDW
About the closet you get are the training spots at Epcot or maybe Characterpalooza at HS. And that's because folks don't know they'll be there. Let them stick around long and there will be a long line

I think maybe as Disneyland is more of a locals park whereas WDW has more international guests, so it more intense with the characters there.

DS asked Elsa where Olaf was. She said he was playing Hide and Seek. Anyway, it would be nice to have an Olaf/Kristoff M&G to throw a bone to the boys.

Agreed. Why not have them at DHS during Frozen Summer Fun and the Holidays at least? Lord knows they have plenty of space at DHS with all the closed attractions there. My son will be happy to meet A&E during our upcoming trip but he would have freaked out if he got to meet Olaf.

We actually met A/E and Olaf with no wait at DCA last week. It was at the tail end of early entry. For some reason I thought they didn't come out until regular park hours. We did some rides and about 10 minutes until regular park open we wandered past the Animation Building and decided to check out where to find A/E after we went to see Olaf. They said "You can go see them now" and we walked on in. Nobody in line, no wait. They actually looked a little bored! LOL. Then we sauntered over to Olaf's spot. They said he was due out in a minute so we started his line and saw him waddle in a moment later. We saw them all in less than 15 minutes. It was amazing.

You can also meet him on some DCL cruises. We met him on the Magic this past summer. You can also pay an exorbitant amount of money to do a private meet and greet. We met Olaf, Anna and Elsa at a private event at WDW this past summer. Rumor has it, for the three of them to do the meet and greet at the event, it cost about $3000.
