Where is DaVine and the Talking Trash Can?

Getting my last minute tips in here before we go next Sunday. I know I've read something about DaVine - I think she's in Animal Kingdom but don't know where she is there. Where exactly is she and is she always there ???

Also, something about a taking trash can but don't remember anything else about this -- can you give me details ???

DeVine... saw her both of my last two trips in AK, near Flights of Wonder in Asia along the path from Africa. There is this large wall shes usually up against. She just looks like overgrown vines, even when you know its her your still amazed by how hard it is to tell. Ive seen her walk across and then hug a tree and blend it... wow. its crazy! Both times i saw her in the afternoon, but im sure it depends on the day i hear alot of people see her early in the morning.

Talking trash can... i always hear about it but dont know where it is! Epcot i think but i have no clue where to find it!

Talking Trash Can is in Tommorow Land.
We have seen it outside of Mickey's Star Tarders, the back side like by the Speedway.

You can ask CM's when DaVine's supposed to be out and where. They'll tell you. The talking trash can I've seen by luck.

I just got back and saw DaVine exactly where the previous poster had stated past Flights of Wonder going towards the Safari. I did not see the Talking trash can this trip but he is usually between the exit from Stitch ( Star Traders and before you hit the Speedway!!! Have fun!!

Wes Palm the talking tree talked to our ds in 2003 when we were there. Commented on Jack's hair (he had it cut the day before in the MK and still had colored gel in it) It was really fun. Hope to see DeVine this time!

If you stand back from the crowd, you can usually spot the "operator" for Wes Palm and the Talking Trash Can. Yeah, it ruins the "magic", but it's kind of interesting watching them work.

Saw DeVine at AK near Flights of Wonder. Talked to CM who was with her. He said that she can't be out when it rains, even just a little because of her stilts. She was walking around and posing, sometimes making an arch for people to walk under.

The first time we saw her years ago she was near the enterance of AK just past the Rainforest Restaurant. We didn't see her in all these years since till this last visit. I had just said something to my DH that morning about wether she was still around. She is beautiful and very graceful. We got a lot of great pictures of her this time.

We have come accross Devine many times while touring the AK. We have come accross her in Asia and on the path between Asia and Africa.

We finally saw Push the Talking Trash Can on our most recent trip this past June. He was located in Tomorrowland. It was pretty cool watching the kids interact with Push.

We saw Wes Palm at the entrance to AK. In the courtyard area before the turnstiles.

DeVine was was over on the path near Flights of Wonder. She was amazing. We saw her right away and she was hiding next to a tree and so many people were lookingat us like we were freaks...we were laughing at them staring at us...as we watched her.

We saw PUSH at the conservation station or Rafiki's...whatever it is called these days. His driver was very easy to find. Kids were having al ball with him though. When he tried to say goodbye and park I was shocked at how many kids held him back or pushed on him and even tried to follow him down a path that was for employees only!

There is a music playing trash can at the electric umbrella too...very funny to watch people with that one.

never saw Wes Palm or DeVine but Push was THE highlight of my kids' trip this summer!!

watching them interact was truly magical

Last November Wes Palm included me in his "act". I use a bright red power wheelchair and he started following me. Usually I'm pretty oblivious when I come through the gates, I'm in that Disney daze, but I suspected something was up when numbers of people started pointing and staring at me. Neither my chair, nor me are stare worthy. My DD used a little body language to aprise me of the fact that there was something going on behind me. I did a half turn in the chair but I wasn't fast enough, Wes Palm was perfectly still. I went forward, he followed. I stopped. He stopped. I ran. He chased. I finally got him off guard when I didn't stop before I turned around. We almost collided and I started chasing him. When I stopped, I kinda bowed to him and applauded his performance, as did everyone watching. I heard some child giggle, "Look Mom, that lady and that tree are dancing."
I'm sure the entire "performance" lasted less than 1 minute but for that 1 minute I was part of the MAGIC and it was amazing!
