Where is a good place for a yummy breakfast?

I cant seem to get a ressie at CP. We ate there last time, and loved it. Any suggestions? Doesnt have to be character oriented. Thanks!

The best we've ever had, in the parks or out, was the breakfast buffet at Boma at AKL. Outstanding!

How would I get from Pop Century to Boma or Polynesian?

To get to the Poly - hop on the MK bus and then board the resort monorail to the Poly.

Boma will be tougher. You would have to take the bus to AK and then the AKL bus to AKL.

So - book your ressies for a later breakfast to make sure buses are running.

1900 Park Fare @ the Grand Floridian has a nice selection on the breakfast buffet, so does Chef Mickey's @ the Contemporary.

the character buffet at 1900 Park Fare is my favorite, 2nd is Crystal Palace.

I've had Boma before. I was good but i love seeign the characters. The only thing that sticks out on their buffet is the raisin bread french toast. They didnt have all that much variety unless you like their "flavor" which is why you should go there if you like it. We went to Boma from Pop, we got on the AKL bus and when everyone got off i asked the bus driver what the best way is and he just took us over there!

Chef Mickey for character is my favorite, with Tusker House second.
Havent had Kona.. but I might be looking into it.

Another vote here for Boma! Great breakfast, spectacular dinner.

To mention a place nobody else brought up yet, I also recommend Kouzzina for a traditional table service breakfast.

We have no interest in big buffets or character meals for breakfast- just not awake for all that!
Last trip after we went to the Christmas party we slept in and got a 10am resssie at Kona Cafe- delish breakfast, wonderful coffee, not busy at all so service was great. We enjoyed this relaxing meal so much we made the same ressie for next month the morning after we go to the halloween party.

Easy to get there from POP, bus to MK then we took the boat to the Poly or you can take the resort monorail. Make sure you have plenty of time, it took us almost 45 min to get this done, it was worth it though!

Kona is the best breakfast - just breakfast. Character wise - Ohanas, Chef Mickey, Tusker House, Akerhause in that order.

Thank you all for the help. We wanted to do two breakfasts while we are there. I booked Kona and 1900 Park Fare. Still have a ressie for 4 at CP. I keep trying everyday to add 2 more people to it, but no luck. So, if I dont get the two extra, Ill be cancelling it and going with 1900 PF and Kona. Thank you all for the help. I just love this forum. Such helpful people.

Boma is our favorite breakfast. It's also fun to visit AKL. The bus trip really isn't that bad since the second leg from AK to AKL takes about 5 minutes.
