Where in the World is Rafiki?

Rafiki is a must do M&G for our Lion Guard obsessed DS4. We are planning to go out to conservation station at AK solely to see him which is a little out of the way. But several people have mentioned seeing him at MK in Adventureland. I haven't seen that indicated on Kenny the Pirate's Character Locator or on Disney's site. It would be more convenient for us to meet him in MK. How do I find out if he's there? For anyone who has seen him, where exactly was he and when?

I've seen him over the past months (3 times to be exact) in Adventureland right across of Sunshine Terrace by the boulder seats. I'm going to MK today and can ask around. Not sure if they brought him out to help out with heavy crowds or if he's back for good.

In September we saw him in Adventureland. We had just passed under the Adventureland sign coming from the hub. He was on the right on a wood platform thing. It was before we reached Swiss family Robinson treehouse.

Oh and it was a low crowd time and first thing in the morning. We walked right up to him!

We saw him at the Conservation Station in AK. He was in the building. I'd recommend going there, the train ride let's you relax for a minute, we met Rafiki, got to pet some animals, and also met Chip and Dale there.

I second the conversation station aka Rafiki's Outpost in animal kingdom. Short lines. You can also catch Chip and Dale there.

Totally agree. Is it "out of the way"? Maybe but if you have a four year old, the next step after meeting Rafiki (and hopefully seeing some of the static displays before meeting Rafiki) is being able to pet goats and pigs and other animals in the area outside. Plus - what four year old can't wait to go meet Rafiki in a train where everyone rides sideways?

Thank you. We don't go until the first week of May so if rumors are right about Moana maybe things will change.

Awesome. We'll be on the lookout for him.

The train yes, the boy loves trains and it's fun to see the animal housing, etc along the trip. I'm not thrilled about the petting zoo because we have a couple close to us. But if the lines are shorter (which I would guess they might be since it is out of the way) it might be worth it.

Asked 4 different character cm and all said that it must if been a pop up surprise here at mk. So don't count it as a sure thing. He is at ak for sure

I have met him right by the TreeHouse in Adventureland and at the Conservation Station in AK. ...if all else fails, he has a huge, wonderful statue in the Lion King section of Art of Animation. (Poor substitute, I know!)

Thank you for asking! I'll keep my eyes open in case we get lucky on our first MK day, if not, to conservation station we go.

I've never seen him at MK but we did meet him last week at AK ! He was at the conservation station and was a great meet! He was soooo funny. Doc McStuffins was also there and my boys met her. She was very interactive as well.

OT, but my children always called him Moofiki. People looked at us funny when they yelled, MOMMY! THERE'S MOOFIKI!

I went to Conservation Station in 2016 and met Rafiki; his line was pretty short. HEADS UP if you are (or have) a Lion Guard fan. When I was on the train ride TO Conservation Station, we went past a set of posters/signs with the Lion Guard characters on them and I was so sorry I didn't have my camera out to grab pics of them. I'm a LG fan and I still think we need a m&g with Bunga!
