"Where In The World is It?" May Contest-Day 6**Answers Added**

pm is on the way - sorry its late but had problems this weekend with DS being bullied and I feel emotionally drained.

Now this one gave alot of you fits!
I think only one person got the whole answer right!

In what attraction can this be found, in what theme park was this attraction originally planned, and what was its original name going to be?
The picture is from the Western section of the Great Movie Ride. This attraction was originally planned for a new entertainment section in EPCOT. The Great Movie Ride was originally going to be sponsored by Sears and called 'Great Moments at the Movies.'

Go on share some of the answers you got for this one

Despite major googling I could not find what it was going to be called originally - can you share where the answer can be found please James :)

I'd rather not say what my source is right now, except to say that it was a book, and not a website. The internet is full of inaccurate or outdated information; you can't always depend on it. For instance, a search for the number of horses on Cinderella's Golden Carousel will yield as many as 5 different answers (and I don't think any of them are right!)
I'll recommend some books at the end of the month.

I had an Imagineering book that gave two different titles - one when the ride was planned for Epcot and one when it was planned for the whole studios. I foolishly went for the at Epcot title!

I took the question to mean the original name (i.e. when it was planned for Epcot).

I think that is what I meant. When I looked at the book again tonight I saw a drawing of the new studios with the name that was given as the correct answer which is why I said I went for the wrong one.

Okay, I'll admit the last part of the question was not clearly written. But, even if you went with the preliminary Epcot name, which I believe was something like 'Inside Entertainment,' it was not 'Mickey's Movieland.' According to page 122 of the book, "Since the World Began-Walt Disney World-The First 25 Years," that was a different attraction planned for the new "Movie Pavilion" at Epcot: "Legendary Disney animator Ward Kimball worked extensively on an ancillary attraction called Mickey's Movieland, which would portray, in Audio-Animatronics tableaux, a comiic behind-the-scenes history of the making of early Mickey Mouse cartoons.
On page 132 of the same book: "The (replica of the Grauman's Chinese) theater houses The Great Movie Ride (developed under the working name 'Great Moments at the Movies'), presented by Coca-Cola."
Since the question was poorly written, I will accept either answer. Sorry for the confusion!

James, I wasn't having a go at the way the question was phrased! That's interesting about Mickey's Movieland as I have that book but hadn't looked in it, only the Imagineering one that mentioned Inside Entertainment. That's what I like about these quizes - finding out neat stuff :goodvibes
