Sounds like a fun time. Cool Mickey was there.

Allie was on "Cloud 9"! I'm not a huge racing fan but glad I watched or I'd have missed Mickey! She was SUPER excited on their seats! Hard to believe but the pit crew changes the car tires in 1.95 SECONDS! I was watching when they changed them...the one Allie took the picture of...and I guessed 3 seconds which was unbelieveable!

Oh my! And so it begins, right? It's FINALLY gotten a little cooler here and humidity is gone...a pleasant 71 degrees so I'm out finishing up details as far as I can go with the decorating. I don't do our front porch until after Thanksgiving; fall decorations stay up until Friday.

I wanted to put up the tree and decorations this weekend but grumpy said no not until after Thanksgiving he did hang the lights up yesterday. It was a nice day. They’re not on yet but all ready to go.

I wanted to put up the tree and decorations this weekend but grumpy said no not until after Thanksgiving he did hang the lights up yesterday. It was a nice day. They’re not on yet but all ready to go.

We're not turning ours on until December 1st...unless Allie protests ! She's home for Thanksgiving but has to go back Sunday. Finished with everything else outside today...during the 1st half when the Cowboys where loosing 21-0! I'm with you though...WANT to put my trees up but have to do my village first! Haven't even STARTED on it yet!

Finished with everything else outside today...during the 1st half when the Cowboys where loosing 21-0! I'm with you though...WANT to put my trees up but have to do my village first! Oh YAY...I was hoping that surprise win wouldn't hurt you! Told Sara afterwards, I bet there was a LOT of money lost on that game. If I'd have been a betting person I never would have put money on the Cowboys and then after that awful 1st half I didn't think there was a chance in hell they'd win! The Cowboys announcer (who we love dearly...what a treat always listening to him broadcast the games!) said it perfectly. "It was like the Cowboys came out of the locker room for kickoff and got together and said OKAY...HOW MANY WAYS CAN WE FIND TO LOOSE THIS GAME...and then, the Eagles came out in the 2nd half and said HOLD MY BEER! Unbelievable!

On another note...Allie came to visit for a few minutes to tell us about how exciting the race was for her. And, get this...the Wicked Witch from Wicked, Cynthia Erivo, sat 2 ROWS in front of them in the Grandstand! She noticed her on the red carpet during the National Anthem and watched her as she went to her seat...right in front of them!

I get all the outdoor decorations up so, OF COURSE, it's going to start pouring rain AND a Tornado Watch!!! Nice little storm earlier and during that storm we got put under a tornado WARNING but it's been downgraded to a Watch for now. Thankful for the rain but don't need my decorations to blow away!
