Sprained ankle is still giving her a few problems so she spent the game last night on the sidelines cheering the team on. Semi-final game Thursday night at 8 PM in Abilene (5 hour drive)! Barring a miracle (which Allie says she's hoping DOESN'T happen ...she wants to come home for the football game Friday night!) this will be her last game. . David's going with Sara but I decided to stay home and watch online...MUCH warmer (it was 38 degrees out there last night ) and I plan on getting the Christmas lights out of the storage shed and begin the process of getting the magnolia trees "lit up"! Really botched the reaction to the game winning goal (couldn't get my gloves off fast enough!) but this group of best friends were so excited for the team!

YES Jeff...like numb hands and feet cold! After living in 90-100 degrees since May it DID feel cold! We had the t-shirts on ...just with long sleeve turtleneck underneath and coat on top! Heated gloves Sara gave me for Christmas helped a LOT...until the battery in the left one died at halftime! Thought I'd charged both of them but that one must have not reached full charge.

Ankle is getting better but cold doesn't help and she's lost a little speed. Was actually thankful Tuesday she wasn't playing. Other team got THREE yellow cards! They did NOT "play well with others"! This is one of Allie's good friends on the field...

#7 had just "pulled her away" from what looked like could have been a "physical fight" after her twin sister had been CLOSELINED by one of the ETBU's players (that girl got 2 of the 3 yellow cards in the game). After she checked on her sister laying on the ground she was headed for the opponent until her teammate guided her 10 yards down the field! Her twin was playing the position Allie would have been in.

Since y'all haven't been on this ride I'll stop with the queue. Very cute...like you're walking through the streets of France and going into shops. The ride spins so fast it was hard getting any decent photos but I'll try again next time!
