Open night for football so the "Dora friends" decided to get an early start on "Fall Ball" activities....especially since Katie won't be here for the actual dance Saturday night. She opted to attend Allie's "Senior Spotlight" game/presentations instead. So they got all dressed up and went to dinner but not before pictures at the Golf Course.

LOVED Olivia's shoes...Treavor taking it easy at his "home away from home" according to Katie and literally "holding up her best friend" (long hair right next to her). Audrey made a quick turn last night while refereeing a youth soccer game and TORE HER MENISCUS! Afraid her Friday night Dora performances are done (her senior year ), Thanksgiving Day Parade and maybe even the senior trip to New York City. HOPEFULLY she can be recovered enough for competition season or at least the Spring Show. It's breaking my heart! She's such a sweet young lady and it's been a rough year so far. She didn't want to be using her crutches for pictures so she leaned on her friends for support.

Amazing evening last night! So many smiles and good wishes....and a few tears too! She had us a little worried during warmups...HURT HER ANKLE! When the assistant coach walked her off the field we were holding our breath!

They took her to the locker room, wrapped the SPRAINED ankle but she wasn't going to let that stop her from starting! (It was really swollen later in the evening when we went back to her townhouse!) She played almost the entire 1st half and the last 10 minutes of the game scoring the goal that was called back and CHARGING the goal at the end of the game to try to head in another!

Won the game and then it was "senior time". I got to scratch off a "fantasy bucket list" item and got to "run" through the line of players with the rest of the family ....the girls were yelling so loud we couldn't hear Allie's introduction! Gift presentations..."official" and "unofficial" ; one of the nicest was a book with notes from each player on the team written personally for Allie; the backup goal keeper (in the yellow jersey) came up to me and asked if "I was Allie's FAMOUS Mimi"...she said "I just LOVE you ...I've heard so much about you; lots of pictures and a fun dinner with one of the other seniors and her family afterwards. Priceless memories! Only 2 regular season games left and I have my doubts that ankle will let her play but, if not, the BEST memories of her soccer years at HPU.

Tree removal day ; I hate loosing our trees but this BIG one didn't make it through the hot summer. It towers WAY above the house....right over our bedroom...so it's time to get it out. Workers been at it all morning and just now getting to the biggest part. Can't watch ...breaks my heart...we planted that sucker when it was 3 foot tall plus we could spend 3-4 nights at the POP and parks for what it's costing!
