Heaven help us! It's only the beginning of May and we already have temperatures in the mid-90's....predicted to get to 97/98 degrees next week! I've been outside 30 minutes doing yard work and am sweated wet! Like DW in AUGUST!

Mandy's assistant groomer had an interesting request today! She did a great job but .... DIANE....can you see this on OUR dogs???

Diane....we ENVY your weather! I know you're totally done with it though but this is crazy here already. The predicted high for Saturday in Laredo is 110...on May 7th! We have a 60% chance of rain tomorrow but that's our last chance for awhile. The heat/humidity was terrible yesterday ; not feeling 100% today with a sore throat and aches. Not sure if I got to hot or strep throat...or COVID (Brahmadora Hip Hop tryouts had to be postponed...the guy who was to judge tested positive over the weekend and he also judged the girls Friday night !)! Two students at BHS tested positive Monday.

This is inside so not a speaker at the front gate.

Here too...just in time for dance recital next week! At least 2 high school students have tested positive after weeks of none! Feeling a little better this evening but SO "worn out" and still have sore throat. I think it has something to do with working outside yesterday. It was SO hot and humid and I was raking leaves and pollen ; stayed inside today and probably tomorrow too. Suppose to have some pretty good thunderstorms move through in the late afternoon/evening so it will be hot and humid again until that happens. Then it's just HOT....predicted to maybe hit 100 over the next week...ALREADY!

Will probably come up sideways but got this earlier...FINALLY best friends are back together! Been a long spring semester with 1 at HPU and the other at Auburn!
