HAPPY FRIDAY! Summertime has finally arried ; looking at high 90 temps well into next week ...our nice "80's and rain" weather is gone.

I wish our rain would go away, we've had rain just about every day this month. We've had 2 sunny days since June 30.

We were in that pattern too; rained a little last night but hot sun today is sucking all the moisture out of the soil! Not complaining; so far, this has been the wettest/"coolest" summer we've had in a LONG time! We normally are hitting 100 in late June! With that said , I know you're ready for sunny days! You've had crappy weather for your summer so far! Jeff...has the heat subsided in your part of the world? Haven't heard much lately.

That just breaks my heart. That's a lot of people being uprooted! I feel like our different types of weather has been totally reversed! Most of our previous summers have been dry; normally we're in a "severe drought" area now. By July, I'm "lugging" my water hoses around the back yard trying to keep the grass alive. This year David has had to cut grass weekly, sometimes twice a week! Praying for y'all to get some relief soon! Not just rain but comfortable temperatures for those of you without air conditioning! It's had to be LONG summer already and we still have August to go. Our weather pattern is changing for next week and with much warmer temperatures I'll be dragging the lawn watering stuff out soon but up until now we've really enjoyed it! Hope y'all get some rain showers soon too!
