My plans, with the girls being gone this week, was to work on Allie's quilt 'cause I'd have so much "time on my hands"! WHAT was I thinking! Busier than I've been all summer! BUT...we actually have a tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico that could bring us some rain! Sure would help if I didn't have to go out and move the water hose to different areas of the lawn all day long! On another note...Texas will have football under the FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS! Katie will get to PERFORM with the dance team! 6 & 5A schools (the largest 2 classifications) will be delayed until the end of September but the rest of the classes got the "go ahead" from UIL yesterday to have ALL their games with 50% stadium capacity allowed. Today they're at an empty AK with their friends. FoP wait time 5 MINUTES; Navi' River Journey is the longest with a 20 minute wait.

The school board of the town I live in voted to continue with remote learning. The town where I work hasn't made a decision yet.
