Well, being an optimist, I have booked my next trip to DW!! :yay:  :yay: Last week of Feb. 4 nights at the Poly DVC, 2 studios and then 3 nights a PO French Quarter.

Even if it's just a week in Florida. Enjoying the Poly and Disney Springs, it will be a nice break from my winter up here. I hope they can open something by then.......

For the first time since the first week in March, I braved a major shopping trip to Walmart! Only crowded in a few places, aisles are clearly marked "one way", still limited stock on some shelves but well stocked on essentials...including toilet paper but short on items like light bulbs, WRAPPING PAPER & GIFT BAGS and THREAD for sewing! :confused3:confused3:confused3 But DID get to see the "soccer Mom" I'd usually sit with at the games and we "air hugged"...and talked for 20 minutes :goodvibes; not only missed saying "goodbye" to the kids but to their parents too! 😢 Curbside grocery pickup also successful with only 3 items not available and 2 substitutions and a total thumbs up :thumbsup2 to Spec's for liquor! :goodvibes

New crop for FRIDAY...it's not even fun celebrating the weekend anymore, is it? 😕

Park? Maybe from SWGE?

I know what you mean what's a weekend all the days seem to be the same.

It's just crazy, isn't it? If I'M this "disoriented", I can only imagine out the kids feel! Even the SUMMER is pretty full of activities! At least Katie has ZOOM dance classes so that keeps her busy anywhere from 2-4 hours a day. The soccer ZOOM meeting for Allie was about their summer workouts and she should be getting those instructions the first week in May. She knows she needs to do a 2 mile run daily but the high school track is closed so she doesn't know where she's going to do it! There's a park close to us with concrete sidewalks but concrete is so hard on the legs and feet and she doesn't want to run the streets in town or roads where she lives because of potholes. She's hoping she can get the Athletic Director to open the track a few hours a day so she...and the other athletes playing a sport in college...can go there to run. They have to turn their uniforms in Monday 😢 so she plans to talk to him. The HP coach called her last week after UIL cancelled the spring sports season to see how she was handling it. He asked her what her final numbers were and when she said 192/73 all he could say was "That's CRAZY stupid"! 😳💞 He felt so bad she didn't reach her goal of 200 career goals but told her to just to change it to 300 college/high school goals :goodvibes 'cause he expected her to "carry on" with those crazy numbers. Just to give her something to do, I'm going to get her started on cutting out tee shirts for her quilt as soon as she decides which ones she wants to use....and in a few weeks the pool water should be more comfortable and she'll actually go swimming too! It's 90 degrees this afternoon!

Is it in HS? Epcot?

Not sure if our HS track is technically open but people have been on it.

Bought a new pool filter so if we're stuck at home all summer at least we can use the pool. Bought the pump last year and now Don has to figure out how to hook the two together because the parts that came with it don't fit.

:rotfl: Peachy! Don't you just hate when that happens! Seems David spends more time "making pieces fit" than ever! I'm HOPING we can get a beach trip in this summer and we want Allie to take us to the college campus sometime so we can get familiar the area. We're HOPING Dance National's aren't cancelled, that's always a fun few days in Galveston. Hopefully you will get to spend time in Maine once this mess settles down too! Our Athletic Director has locked ALL the gates to the track/football field. Allie's seen a couple of people crawl over the fence but she's not brave enough to do that :rotfl:...plus she'd probably hurt herself if she tried it! 🙄
