Well, happy belated birthday!
... he posted one of my favorite Disney birthday greetings! I was actually born on Father's Day; Daddy always said I was the best Father's Day gift he'd ever gotten! Next week we celebrate 4th of July; the next week we'll be in Galveston 2 days for the Dance Nationals and Redstorm and her Dad are entered in the Port Aransas Tarpon Tournament (a few years ago Redstorm caught the largest tarpon in her age category ) and the next week is Disney week! The day after we return Redstorm starts mandatory volleyball practices and the tournaments begin August 3rd. We didn't want to use DD's points to stay in a Villa (she's saving them for Redstorm's senior year when she and her 3 BFF's and their mothers plan on going and staying in a Grand Villa) and we needed to book 2 rooms...$$$$$...so we went with the POP. We really enjoyed our 2016 stay at All Star Music but opted for the POP because (what some will think is a stupid reason 
) some of the participants of the Disney International Youth Soccer Tournament will be based there. We always enjoy meeting other guests at our resorts and we'll have something in common with most of them on this trip. Diane will be "across the bridge" at AoA until they move to the Poly. We booked Preferred Rooms so we'll be close to main building and transportation and all preferred rooms have been refurbished; didn't book a pool view so hopefully we'll be on the "back side" of the building which cuts down on outside noise. Looked at booking at Port Orleans Riverside but just couldn't justify spending the extra money to move up from value to moderate since we really won't be at the resort that much. We'd talked about a trip right after Christmas and when I said something about trying PO Riverside neither one of the girls were "excited" about staying there...more enthused about the POP or AoA. Anxious to see if the POP lives up to All Star Music.
