Fun remembering all the kitchen items from my childhood but not a wall clock or something to hang other kitchen utensils on. If you study the picture, there's a small clue if you look at the size of this object compared to the wall in the background as to where it's located. The object is associated with a certain food used in a kitchen.

Fun remembering all the kitchen items from my childhood but not a wall clock or something to hang other kitchen utensils on. If you study the picture, there's a small clue if you look at the size of this object compared to the wall in the background as to where it's located. The object is associated with a certain food used in a kitchen.

OK is this used for cooking or holding/storing something?

Just went for a short walk in the neighborhood and thought of you Diane ... a little cool (65 degrees) put a beautiful evening with an orange sunset and dark clouds to the south. (Suppose to have thunderstorms later this evening.) But the birds were singing, people out mowing their grass, kids playing Little League baseball at the park...a "beautiful day in the neighborhood". And then there's Diane's weather ... hang in there...spring WILL arrive!

This is used to hold/store something you have to cook. It was probably used more in farm houses.
