Are you in a blizzard Diane? I like your idea of summers in Maine, winters in Florida! I'm glad your property taxes are "only" $5,000, not $7,000.

We are just getting rain and winds right now. It started off as snow and ice but changed over to rain. They said it could turn back to snow again but nothing so far. Mass got hit pretty hard a lot of trees and power lines down and a lot of flooding at the coast. They had 90 mph winds in some places. Last I saw there were 75,000 without power.

Back home safely...WOW was I-10 traffic INSANE ...with a 4-0 win. We do NOT like this stadium or this field; terrible for pictures...high fence between stands and field and camera kept focusing on the top rail ; terrible lighting ; shorter field than the girls are used to playing on so they stayed "bunched up" all night and "lumpy"...you can see how it "drops off" on either side....but Redstorm and her "partner in crime" had a few laughs (and got "fussed at by the coach after the game and "sent to the bus "...but they walked slowly and talked with us and managed to be the last ones ON the bus )...

...but she still managed yet ANOTHER "Hat Trick" night, scoring 3 of the 4 goals ...

...AND...our fastest player, Taylor, was FINALLY back on the field after breaking her wrist the early part of January. Ya think she was happy to be back :

You don't actually experience any loops, just fast flying maneuvers like going straight down and fast turns. Have you been on Star Tours? FOP is like combining ST and Soarin. If you start to feel uncomfortable or dizzy, just close you eyes as 95% of the ride is visual.

COOL...have NO problems on Star Tours so I'm a "GO" !

I am SO sorry!! You are both right! I was looking at my pictures and I had just left the Tangled restrooms and was heading into Fantasyland so I thought Peter Pan was on my right but I guess I turned around and took this picture!!! The win goes to Terri!!!!

I snowed all day today too! I shoveled and shoveled and shoveled but ended up cancelling my lessons for today. I cancelled yesterday too. I'm so glad I"m in a position where I can make my own decision about whether I want to drive or not and don't have an important job.

I heard they declared a state of emergency in VA! I guess the east coast is really getting hit!

No problem! We all get "turned around" sometime. Glad you cancelled your lessons; no need to be on the road in the middle of a snowstorm unless absolutely necessary! East Coast is getting HAMMERED! Hope you're okay Diane...and GLAD you don't live on the coast!

My brother says it is Soarin on steroids. And all the times I have gone up there I have yet to ride it. The past princess half marathon weekend was the first time I got over there to see Pandora at night.

Guess you need to make a quick trip to DW and ride it with Jeff and Emily!

I've watched the Weather Channel off/on all day. WOW on those winds...saw up to 93 mph . What a mess you have too...snow and ICE then rain. The Mass coast looked like it got hit...or was getting hit by a hurricane! Thinking about you all .
