I forgot Kona! I love African food, Tusker House and Boma. But I ate at Tusker house last time.[/QUOTE]

I think we WERE standing in the same spot! :rotfl: None of us are fans of African food...way to many strange spices that don't agree with us and heartburn on a vacation is not our "cup of tea". :rotfl2: None of us "cleaned our plate" at the last Tusker House meal...went back to WL and got something from Roaring Forks. ::yes:: Kona is a must for breakfast on every trip...nothing better...:tink:

Send one this way:hyper: You need to start selling them Mimi's Christmas Cookie.:santa:

Youngest DD said the same thing the other night...I need to start selling them! I actually thought about sending you one after Thanksgiving and forgot :o to ask if you'd be interested! With your COLD weather, a cookie would stay fresh once it got to your part of the country! Getting it out of the Houston area before the icing MELTED would be the hard part! :rotfl: I begin baking them the first part of December and they keep well IN THE FREEZER! :goodvibes IF we ever get cooler temperatures  it might work...PM your address and I'll see what I can do. ::yes:: Each batch makes 2 cookies and Redstorm threatened to keep the one intended for the soccer party so she and the Princess could munch on it at home! :rolleyes1 They'd be more than happy to take "the 2nd one"! ::yes:: :tink:

Christmas tree or wreath? Been snowing all day today, supposed to get more snow and ice tomorrow and then another storm on Monday.

MK or Epcot?

Ouch on the possible ice tomorrow  That's what make it difficult to drive and then you have the risk of those pesky power lines going down! That would NOT be good the day before Christmas Eve! Looks like it's getting ready to get stormy here :scared1:...when the cooler air starts filtering into this warm, muggy mess we always worry about tornados! It's VERY cloudy/misty rain with stormy looking clouds and the wind gusts pick up and then it's "dead silent"...THAT'S when we start watching the sky! :scared:

:thumbsup2 This is from an Epcot Christmas tree. :tink:

You poor thing, your winters always suck! How much snow do you have? I have about 15 inches on the ground with little paths carved out for the pigs. Poor pigs hate snow.

WS? A European country?

76 degrees at 4 PM; 49 degrees now :yay:! Went out to turn our outdoor lights on in my shorts and was GREATLY surprised. :lmao: Enjoying the Texas High School Football Championship games this weekend. The "most hated team" in our division was beaten in the championship game a few minutes ago :dance3: ... thank goodness. Their coach is a grouch; student body rude; fans obnoxious and players "smart a**'s"...it was a PLEASURE seeing them fall from their "perch" after winning the championship game 2 years ago. And they got stomped...41-21 :yay:! Perfect weather NOW to enjoy the final high school games of the year. :tink:

Just watched...for the 2nd time :goodvibes (FOX SW immediately ran the game again after the after game analysis) of what has to be THE greatest State Championship Finals in Texas history. No one but Diane will appreciate this :rotfl:but the State 5A; Div. 1 team, Highland Park, was quarterbacked by the grandson of Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys. They played a Houston area team, Manvel. Before 25,000 fans, HP was behind at half-time by 14 points. They were behind by 10 points when they took possession on their 15 yard line with 3:12 on the clock and scored with 1:11 left. Still behind by 3 points they GOT the onside kick. Worked their way to the 11 yard line; first play, sacked back on the 16. Two incomplete passes later they scored with 36 seconds left to gain the lead 53-49. Manvel took the kick and worked their way to the HP 40 yard line with 8 seconds left; pass to receiver...CAUGHT on the 2 yard line and "gang tackled" on HALF YARD LINE with 0:00 on the clock...Highland Park wins! :cheer2: That was a fun total of 7 hours of football :goodvibes between the actual game and the rerun. I LOVE Texas high school football...and better yet, DH had to start a fire in the fireplace when the temperature dropped to 44 degrees! :yay: :tink:

Where is this?

It was 8 here this morning :cold: (That's -26 for you Jeff :goodvibes ) I dread going out to feed the pigs. I have officially caught a cold

You did what I do quite often...added the wrong picture...saw you painting picture on Facebook...nice so repost the correct photo for all to see

DANG...THAT'S C-O-L-D! :cold::cold::cold::cold::cold: Brrrr! I've been "waiting" for that first official cold this season too; so "rundown" and tired it HAS to arrive soon. Hope it's not a bad one; take care and drink lots of warm liquids. Believe it or not...hot Dr. Pepper with a touch of lemon is amazing on sore throats and general cold symptoms. Hope Diane hasn't lost power since she hasn't checked in. That predicted ice/heavy snow may have her "in the dark". Y'all are getting SLAMMED this weekend!

On your crop...park, resort or other? :tink:

Ha! Yes, I did it again! This is from a park.

I

And here's the painting:

I'm okay, just congested. I did all my chores in single digit temps. :cold: Doesn't matter how cold it is, the pigs need to be fed and I need to bring wood in.

I hope Diane has not lost power! Looks like she's got those just at or below freezing that make the snow, sleet, ice the worst. Especially with everyone running around with last minute Christmas shopping.

I hope they don't lose power because after this, starting on Christmas there lows are going to be zero or below. "High" of 7 next Wed! That's worse than me! :cold:

Hope you don't get any tornados Karolyn!

Yes...we talked about that earlier this week when the predictions called for VERY cold temperatures. No tornados reported so all was good; had a brief heavy rain shower and the cold air quickly settled in. DD and the girls were in Brenham (it's 20 miles north of us); ate lunch (it was 78 at the time) then drove to movie theater...10 minute drive max. The cold front arrived on the way and the temp dropped 20 degrees in a matter of minutes! Yes...remember well those farm chores...doesn't matter what the weather is, you have to take care of the animals. Needless to say...I DON'T MISS THAT one bit! Very pretty painting...I love snow paintings...

On your crop...Epcot? :tink:

Some GREAT high school games in the State finals this weekend. Just watched a game that College Station High School won 20-19; that school was started in 2012 with only freshman and sophomores and now, 5 years later they won the state championship breaking a 31 game winning streak by Aledo! 28,000 fans watched the game! The LARGE school divisions start at 3 PM; one of the schools playing has BAND members that EQUAL the student populations of Bellville High School! :faint: Hoping they show their half-time performance! :tink:
