Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

thats a good idea I might have to get a tent now. lol might be able to get one on sale near the end of summer

That would be SO much fun! We used to do that when our kids and grandkids were little...to old now though to sleep on the floor! :lmao: And with all the fires there should be NO ONE wanting a tent to camp in the woods! ::yes:: :tink:

ya I have only been on that ride once too. I dont like simulator rides. so I am not sure where that would be

The ride itself was okay; I was just so nervous with the closed in space :scared1:; freaks me O-U-T! I probably exited that ride quicker than I've EVER exited a ride at DW...and remember next to nothing about it! :lmao: :tink:

this photo is from the news about the amount of smoke there is from all the fires up north

we have not seen the sun in days due to all the smoke In the area, some days you can taste it ewwww so we have not been able to open any of our windows at night to sleep has been rough

That's a lot of smoke. Scary. I agree with Karolyn camp out in the room with the AC.

On the actual ride? :tink:

Can you see this while on the ride or is it in the queue or exit area?

Was only on Mission Space once. To me it looks like when you close your eyes real tight and then rub them. :lmao:

:lmao: Exactly! I've only been on it once too...Denise "forced" me :rotfl2: so don't remember much about ANY of it. Claustrophobia does that to you! :tink:

This is from on the actual ride. Karolyn I know you have seen this because you were sitting right next to me when Jason took this picture. Here is s the whole picture. What is happening when you see this?:

Looks like I'm right under some of the thickest smoke on that map! I just got back from town and it is the smokiest yet today. We haven't had rain in over a month. I was talking to a woman who works for the forestry service and she said "when" fires start around here, she will be pulled from her job to do support jobs. She said with this heat and the little bit of wind we have and no rain in the forecast, that fires are inevitable.

But no fires near us as of now. :)

I'm just so glad that I have enough water this year!!! First year I've ever had grass in August!

Here is a picture I took this morning. It's like being on Mars! Very eerie but at least the smoke is keeping the temperatures in the 90's instead of the 100's. It's 90 outside right now and 72 in here without even turning on the a/c. And it cools off as soon as the sun goes over the mountain about 8:00.

Oh I'm sure I saw it but "fear" :rotfl: makes you forget! That morning picture is very eerie and yes...I'd be expecting forest fires since it's so dry. That rain on Wednesday helped around here a lot and temps have "only" been in mid-90's but I'm waiting for the county to implement the "burn ban". Kinda surprised they didn't do it last Monday but then parts of our county HAVE had rain. Good luck on the fire situation; hope all goes well. :tink:

Volleyball morning :faint:...and now it's hard to "get busy" with afternoon chores...:rolleyes1...here's a new crop to solve while I try to motivate myself :crazy2::
