we have not seen the sun in days due to all the smoke In the area, some days you can taste it ewwww so we have not been able to open any of our windows at night to sleep has been rough

That is GROSS! And I can only imagine the headaches from not being able to breathe! There were times we could see/smell the smoke too during our drought/forest fire stage about 5 years ago. It is NO fun. So I'm guessing they're still burning strong? Any progress on getting them out? It almost looks bad enough to wear masks when you go out! Didn't you get an AC a few weeks ago? Y'all need to all "camp out" in the room with the AC!

yes we have AC but only on the main floor. up stairs where all the bedrooms are gets pretty hot

we just do sleep with any sheets on except for James and he insisted in sleeping fully under his comforter (because he is crazy and has to be covered at all times) but when we go to sleep I go into his room and remove it

That's a kid thing! DGD does the same thing but with the AC and fan on it does stay pretty cool in her bedroom. You need to "camp out" this weekend in the downstairs...James would love sleeping in a tent! It's got to be miserable with all that smoke plus the heat. I don't envy your situation at all!

thats a good idea I might have to get a tent now. lol might be able to get one on sale near the end of summer

ya I have only been on that ride once too. I dont like simulator rides. so I am not sure where that would be
