Welcome to my world.![]()
Annie...we haven't heard from you since the storm. I know you're pretty far inland but NC had A LOT OF RAIN and flooding! Everything good for your part of the state?![]()
Just trying to make a payment on our trip on MyDisneyExperience...it only takes $20.00 at a time!
So now I'm on hold on the phone...estimated wait time...30 minutes!
At least I just got to listen to the Soarin' soundtrack....

Things were a bit crazy here. Saturday we ended up driving to get my mom and her dogs to stay with us because Dad was at work and she was freaking out. I chose the right route....found out when we got back that the shorter way to get to her place was blocked due to flooding. Luckily, both our house and Mom's only lost power briefly and didn't suffer any damage from water or trees.
That being said, the entire eastern part of the state, including ECU are still facing massive flooding, worse than when Floyd hit and caused what they called a "hundred year flood." I'm very close with the mayor of a small town that was evacuated yesterday because the river was rising at a rate of 10ft per HOUR. It's absolutely heartbreaking to watch and not be able to do anything. So lots of bittersweet, conflicted feelings.

No thoughts as to what this is? It's from the loading dock area of the Wildlife Express Train.![]()

I thought about you when I was "thigh deep" and trying to catch my breathe!
