Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

I would have a blast up there during a storm. It wouldn't stop me.

I would love to spend a hurricane in Disney. I think it'd be awesome.

I'm supposed to go to an outdoor concert with Mom on Friday night, so we're keeping a close eye on things. Even if Matthew doesn't "hit" us (we're in the central part of the state), if it's raining we're just gonna count it a loss rather than sit and get drenched.

I had a woman come in today getting "emergency cash" for the hurricane, and I mentioned they had it going further out to sea and possibly missing us. Her response was "But he's 700 miles wide!! That's wide enough to cover the whole state!" Okay lady.....

I did go to the store last night, but that's because Belle was low on kibble. We can survive on whatever we have, but gotta make sure the dog gets fed!! :rotfl2:

Need to run errands today...AND get my flu shot  (I HATE SHOTS!) ...here's one to work on until this afternoon:

Park, resort or other?

I have some friends in Epcot right now and they are taking shelter because its pouring there right now. they are the ones who keep sending us house listing lol

I guess its not the best time to be trying to get some one to move down there lol

It might not be that much fun to be stuck at Epcot. If it's raining and you get stuck in a small shop. Maybe if you were in the Land or the Seas. I'm glad we don't have hurricanes up here!

Where does Ed live? I just heard that Palm Beach and areas along the coast are under mandatory evacuation. :duck:

Ed's in West Palm Beach...in the hurricane watch area...north of Miami but not as far as Cocoa Beach. Same area that Rush Limbaugh lives and broadcasts his show from :goodvibes. He has guest hosts set up for Thursday & Friday, expecting to loose utility services. South Florida is, as Ed says, "flat as a pancake" and I would suspect the entire area is under mandatory evacuation. I returned home around 5:30 and haven't had a chance to listen to much news; entire family was HUNGRY and all on different eating "shifts"...2 more to get fed and then I'll have a chance to catch up on the news. One does NOT want to be close to the beach during a Cat 4 hurricane...catastrophic damage possible. Can't remember if Hurricane Ike was a 3 or 4 but a large part of Houston was without electricity for almost a week. I remember returning from DW and driving through a DARK Houston when we left the airport. Very freaky  and the damage, especially in Galveston, was unbelievable. :sad2: We all need to send "safe thoughts" to him! I can still "hear" the winds of Hurricane Carla when I was 10 years old...it's a sound you never forget. :tink:

But Jeff...you're always up for an adventure, aren't you? Wouldn't you like to experience a hurricane at least once? :rotfl: It's frightening but you have to remember it's been what, 8 years or so, since one has hit the Orlando area. But then, there was 1 year they had three! It's part of life in the coastal states. :tink:

:umbrella: I wouldn't want to sit out in the rain either! :rotfl: You have to at least give that lady credit for thinking ahead ::yes::, SO many people don't realize if there is no electricity the ATM doesn't work! :rotfl:Better safe than sorry. :goodvibes And YES...make sure Belle has plenty to eat! :dog: :tink:

Also if there are power outages and the few places that have power and are open won't be able to take a debit/credit card. Cash only. After learning that the hard way I always have cash on hand.

Hi Annie. I know I have missed some time here because of life in general. Did I miss where you moved to Florida?

And that is not really the bad part of the storm. Not even close to it yet are they. Give them to mid day Friday.
