Weekend crop ...actually a 4 day weekend for Sara & Katie. School was out today for teacher development training and Monday is President's Day.

i had a 4 day weekend too because the kids had a pro day on Friday and monday was a holiday too

Much needed break for everyone! David's been working on our bathroom remodeling and actually took today off too. Slow going though! He likes to keep his "construction skills" sharp but sure would have been easier to hire a "young person" to do the job!

Your "spring break"? Ours here will be March 10-16. Sara and the girls will leave for DW March 8th (driving) and stop for a visit at Florida State. Looks like Allie's accepting BOTH offers (they intertwine) but she doesn't want to commit 100% until she visits the campus. AND...Katie needs to get those pictures in her graduation gown in front of the Castle so I can start working on graduation party decorations and gifts.

Well looks like our "spring has sprung"! MISERABLE with allergy symptoms, plants are showing new growth and temps already in the 80's . So now we wait for the next round of cooler weather that will seem SO cold and we'll have to protect our newly budded plants from the wind and cold. Typical Texas weather! Anyone need a break from the snow and cold and rain...Texas is "open" for a visit.

This is not a food cart; it's a sign on a specific item in Dinoland that we've all seen and smiled at.

And BOY do we LOVE Gov. Abbott! (Especially after David's job brought him the first "threat" in a few years to "stay off my property and turn your head or else" from one of those "visitors" !) At least Gov. Abbott is making an effort...but YOU can come visit us anytime...I'll vouch for you!
