Took some things out to her earlier and she's so-so. A lot of pain and stiffness surprisingly in the area they took the ligament from to do the repair. She's managed to extend the time between pain pills by a half hour which is good. She started last night on the machine that bends her knee; couldn't get past 5 degrees last night but up to 25 this afternoon which is also good. Doctor said slow and easy on that. Has a good appetite but pain pills give her a little bit of an upset tummy so she eats a little at a time. (She brought her STITCH snuggle pillow home to keep close to her.)

Wow...that's a pretty big one too! Hope all is okay; sounds like a weekend that you got to spend indoors!

where did they take the ligament from i assume from the back of the leg like they did with me.
my knee was swollen for a long time before i could really move it around
everything is fine now there was some damage to areas around where it was spotted but where we are it was just very windy
they dont knot if it actually touched down or not

Not from France.![]()
She had the ligament taken from the inner area around the knee if I understood her correctly; she kept pointing to that area. Can't tell what's swollen and what isn'tsince her entire leg and foot are wrapped. She has to keep it straight at least until her checkup appointment, I think next Monday. She DOES do 5-6 hours a day of slight movement on the machine they sent home with her...30 minutes at a time. She's suppose to be at 100% range of motion by appointment day and yesterday she made it to 45%. Haven't seen it in use so unclear if it bends the knee or just moves her leg up/down...pretty sure it moves the knee. Her aunt owns a hair salon and Sara's taking her in today so she can get her hair washed.
She's super excited about that! Can't get in shower yet with that big bandage/wrap so she's doing the sponge bath thing which is more of a pain than it's worth!
She DID go outside yesterday for a few minutes.
Sounds like your family came out okay in the bad weather. As long as nothing blew away you're good!
Hope the damage elsewhere was minimal. Tornados are SO scary; so glad your family didn't experience a direct hit! We had one go over our house once and the noise was unbelievable! Sounded like a train coming toward the house!
I don't think I'll ever forget that sound!
Took a few limbs out of the tops of our backyard trees and touched down about a mile to our east.
