it was 28 degrees on my way to work this morning. I’ll be glad when we turn the clocks back I’m tired of driving to work in the dark.

I JUST told David "I may have to get my long pants out before the day is done"! Had to go out and clear the debris from our curb (d*** neighbors that don't clear the leaves and pine needles in front of their houses and it washes down in front of OUR house during heavy rains) before the water started running in our garage and I was "pretty chilly" when I came back in!

We had a neighbor who used to blow their leaves out into the street and they would blow down the street into our yard and the house across the streets yard. Thank goodness they moved.

I'm afraid that won't happen here! They're really good neighbors except they don't take care of their yard! I saw him mow the strip of land between our back yards ONCE all summer! Flowerbeds are TOTAL weeds and they have 2 huge oak trees in the front yard that shed a million leaves! The neighbor on the south side of them have a giant pine tree in their front yard; we're "downhill" from both of them and all that s*** flows down hill in front of us!

GOOD news on Katie's MRI; well, as good as we could have hoped for. She has a sprained ACL and MCL; rest and exercises should do the trick. Doctor said she has, in common terms, "an overworked knee". She's suppose to continue exercises and she can go back to "part time" dance...NOT the 8 hours of dance she did every day. BUT...she can also perform in the Thanksgiving Day Parade IF she keeps her dancing at a minimum until then. She'll keep sitting out her regular dance classes and "save" the dance time for Dora's. SUCH a relief....our "worst fear" of her also needing surgery would not have gone over well!

Not so good news on Cheryl; she had her first chemo treatment Tuesday. Hoping it will help extend her life span a little.
