Was it with a towel animal display?

Yes it's a towel animal. Towel Mic,key. AKL is the only resort we ever got towel animals at. We got them everyday either animals or a Mickey and they always did some kind of cute arrangement with the kids stuffed animals.

This is not from the parking lot, a bus stop or boat dock. It's located somewhere at the Beach Club and I'm still trying to figure out what it is. Jeff...you're an architect, what are your thoughts?

We've had them at the WL, WLV, Kidani and this one at AoA. I was thinking I'd never seen one with a drink coaster on it and then noticed this (blurry ) from AoA! I think they're probably becoming more a "thing of the past"; I can't recall having one since the 2013 AoA ones.

While eating dinner last night I got a phone call. It was my neighbor from "up the street" (who always borrows things from me ... but she DOES return them ) requesting I come out the front door onto the porch. I walk out the door to be greeted by "a parade" ; she's driving by with her 4 kids (4th - 10th grades) riding on the back of the pickup truck shouting "HAPPY EASTER" and "blowing kisses"! I LOVE my neighborhood! On an even better note...our 92 record breaking temperature of yesterday is now a cool, heavenly 58 degrees today with highs only in the 60's and lows in the 40's this week!

They’re definitely lights. AoA had the same lights in the pool area.
Are they by an outdoor eating area? Restrooms?

I miss all the beautiful bedspreads. Every room looks like a hospital room now. Clean. I'll give you that but I miss the color.

This one reminds me of the crop you had from the Polynesian Grand Ceremonial House...I think it was the wooden peaks of the GCH...something like this. Walking paths is close enough; I was looking for "courtyard area" of the buildings. You can even see the area I took this picture on the picture Jeff posted with the lights around the pool. At first I thought they were on the roof but noticed the poles on one of my other photos....
