I hope so. I have to order her cap and gown but not sure if I should but I guess better be safe in case they do have one at a later date. She's so sad she won't be able to see her friends. She won't be able to complete all her labs so not sure what they are going to do. Her adviser is a Vet and travels to the animal shelter (about 10-15 minutes away) one day a week to do work and she said students could go there when she is working and get their labs in. Hopefully she can do that. Moving out should be a joke. You have to sign up for a two hour time to go get your stuff next week and you can only bring one person to help you.

That move out WILL be fun! I guess they're limiting the number of students in the dorms; hopefully she doesn't have a lot of heavy stuff to carry! Sounds like a good idea with the adviser; they've GOT to get their labs in somehow! You can't do that kind of stuff online! I'm still hopefully that this "shutdown" now will put an end to the rapid increase in cases and by May things can start getting back on track. I'd get the cap and gown ordered! They may limit guests or have "graduation shifts" but I feel like they'll do something. A&M hasn't announced any plans yet but at least they informed everyone that graduation wasn't CANCELLED!

Isn't it ridiculous That's what things look like here too. Even all the bread is gone. No bread anywhere.

I could NOT believe it! I'm so confused ; didn't people cook at HOME before this all happened??? Why should all of a sudden grocery shelves continue to be emptied! She was looking for flour and sugar...none to be found ! I needed half & half yesterday (2 of David's co-workers told him they NEEDED my sugar cookies ); he checked in the morning and there were no milk products in the cooler at a smaller grocery store but my afternoon it was almost fully stocked again. Same with bread last Saturday. We needed to get some for Allie & Katie for their lunches this week (that was before Sara & Treavor came back home); he brought home 3 loaves! It's "hit and miss"; all depends on the time of the day you get there.

I could NOT believe it! I'm so confused ; didn't people cook at HOME before this all happened??? Why should all of a sudden grocery shelves continue to be emptied! She was looking for flour and sugar...none to be found ! I'd certainly be waiting at the door when the store opened! HOPEFULLY the "panic buying" in your area is done but then I thought it would be done here already too. Some people are able to get everything they're looking for; others not. It's all in the timing; first customers in the store or arriving after shelves have been restocked during the day helps. My cousin, in Leander, Texas, stood in line an hour this morning before getting into the HEB. They were only letting 15 customers in at a time. I might have to find some of my homemade bread recipes! I'll have to get David to check if yeast is available! Had I known all this crazy mess would occur within a matter of days and had I had room in my luggage I could have done most of my shopping at the Grand Canyon General Store! David suggested we stop at a Walmart and buy some cheap luggage to fill up with groceries! Wish we had done that! Good luck when you do venture out!

I baked Sugar Cookies this evening for 2 of David's co-workers who were in dire need of a "pick me up sugar fix"! I had a 5 lb. bag of flour in the freezer and a 10 lb. bag of sugar in the pantry so I can bake a little but not much. I may end up sharing with both the girls if Amanda or David can't locate any! A lot of people have had luck at our local Dollar Stores; if you have any of those in your area you may want to start there. Not everyone remembers they also have a few groceries.
