Downtown Houston is pretty. It does look like spring there. No green in sight here.
That's a lot of volley ball courts.

Couldn't BELIEVE all those courts. A friend of one of the parents had a daughter playing on Court 9 (which was the far north side of the huge building...we were on Court 10) and another daughter playing on the south end on Court 84! Needless to say, she wasn't able to watch both play! There were 3 courts across and as long as the eye could see...and on 3 floors of the Convention Center! Amazing! I didn't think you had much, if any "green" yet and we're "budding out all over" here. Even the trees in downtown were a beautiful green. Somewhere in that "concrete jungle" is the hospital DH will have his surgery!

...and now I'm off for a PICNIC with DGD...and soccer fans! The regularly scheduled games for last Friday were rained out and since it's spring break for both schools, they are scheduled for "high Noon" at Clark Park. DD just called and said, IT'S HOT! Sunscreen is on; Disney hat in the car and picnic lunch in the cooler....

Glad you have nice weather for spring break. DS is on spring break this week. DD has it end of April. It's cold here today 40. Looks like it could snow.
