Just got some sad news as I begin this day. My BFF's mother just called to tell me Col. Joe Tom Haney passed away early this morning. Col. Haney was Director of the Texas A&M Aggie Corp of Cadets band from 1973-1989. He composed the now famous Nobel Men of Kyle which is played numerous times during every Texas A&M football game. I had the privilege of meeting him and attending an A&M game with him many years ago. BFF and I had the time of our lives at that game with him! He and his wife are good friends of her parents and we extended our visit in his home after the game where he delighted us with stories from his years as Director. He autographed one of their CD's for me...planning on enjoying that music today as we face another rainy day. We've only had 6 inches; thank goodness we're not facing the flooding situation they are in Louisiana!

Since I'm not that familiar with ToT (I tend to stay away from that attraction until DGD's tease me into joining them ), I'm not sure how to answer the "basement" part of your question but this is not in a queue for the ride.
