I thought you might! Like I said...I want them ALL! It looks like they're in the Marketplace Co-op shop that I LOVE...bought quite a few of my Christmas gifts in that shop last November. WHEN you get back, you will HAVE to go to DS. First of all, to ride the balloon ; then to visit all these awesome new places. I could spend a LOT of money in that place!

Hope her ankle feels better. I'm glad the coach sent her home to rest it.

We have Spring Break next week and DD already made an appointment to have it looked at. She needs to get past this coming weeks ACE volleyball tournament (it's at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston...they'll have 100 volleyball courts set up! Huge 2 day tournament!). Her volleyball coach was at the Track Meet and right before Redstorm sent the text to DD that she was out, Coach Hood had picked up her phone to text the track coach to pull her out of the mile. She could tell it was bothering her when she ran the 400. Same problem last Saturday; she was fine at the beginning of Saturday's play but as the day wore on we could all tell she was "favoring" it. If the doctor next week takes her off of activities so be it. Wouldn't "hurt our feelings" if she had to miss the rest of track season and most of the major volleyball stuff is done after next weekend. She'd miss tennis & golf season which would be hard...she's really looking forward to tennis...but she'd be okay with it. We'll see....

I'm being really tacky but I don't think I want to watch the news story this evening about the "naked women dancing on the truck" from this mornings "traffic report". Let's just say, I just saw a picture of "the incident" on Facebook ...it "wasn't pretty"! She was also reported to be "waiting for the aliens to pick her up". With the death of Nancy Reagan this weekend, it brings to mind one of her pet projects...JUST SAY NO!

It's snowing. Supposed to be 50's tomorrow.

That is just crazy. Pool temp is up to 75. A couple of weeks of sun like this Saturday and Sunday and it will be in the 90's. Then it is to warm to swim in.

Sorry Ed...that picture would be banned from Disboards...and they'd probably band ME too! I don't even think it could go to you via PM! I'll PM you the "details" though and you can use your imagination ...trust me...it's NOT "pretty"! I have NO idea how she stayed on that truck either. It's one of those big rigs with the slanted front hood! I'm assuming the truck was stopped in traffic...even though she was "flying", no way she could have gotten on that sucker while it was moving! The friend that posted the picture put it side by side with a photo of one of those "shapely" female hood ornaments people used to have on their cars during the WWII era as a "polar opposite" . Like I said, I know I'm being tacky but was NOT a "pretty sight"!

With our busy schedule I don't know if it will be possible but SURE hoping DH can get our pool ready before his knee surgery. I'm SO ready to enjoy that sucker again!
