Agree with Pangani Forest Trail...but I think I see an aardvark!

Not on the Pangani Forest Trail. No hippos but, you are amazingly close (closer than aardvark, though that really is a good guess.) I would have said it's closer to an aardvark than a hippo but, I read the sign. How did you think of aardvark!? I don't think I've ever seen an aardvark in person

No, this is not an anteater, giant or otherwise but, they do sort of look like a cross between a anteater and a hippo!

Sugar cookies baked ; have to cool before I can get icing on them so I decided I'd visit Disboards! Strange things "pop" into my head at 2 AM ; hence the aardvark guess! I don't know WHAT kind of creature you have here; closer to an aardvark than a hippo, cross between an anteater and a hippo...OH MY! Since you're not making it easy for us, let's establish a country and I'll start with Africa.

Cookies DONE; in fact, I refuse to BAKE anything more for Christmas! Today's ingredients total: (Denise...for your own good don't read this)

5 cups butter, 7 1/2 cups sugar, 10 eggs, 17 1/2 cups flour, 2 1/2 cups margarine and 20 cups powdered sugar=10 large sugar cookies!

My "megalopolis" looks soooo pretty when I turn the overhead lights off and just sit on the couch! Sure hope I get to that soon...just sit and enjoy it!

I love your decorations and tree. Our tree has mostly Disney ornaments on it too. We have a monorail going around the tree with a Mickey and Minnie treet skirt and our stockings are all Disney too, well except for DS he has Boston Bruins. I'll have to take a picture.

I can't remember any shops on that side of the street Bakery?

Yes, this is in the Oasis! With it's quiet meandering trails and gentle animals. Setting the mood for what is to come. The equivalent of Main St. in the MK. Warthog is close enough. They are babirusa which I always thought were a form of pig but, if you read the sign, it says they are more closely related to the hippo! And, the little girl does have a long nose like an anteater! What an animal!
