Texas High School football! 
The football team from Brock, Texas (southwest of Ft. Worth) just won the 3A State Football Championship after 3 years in existence. They had State Championships in basketball but being a small school, had no football program until the superintendent decided "not everyone plays basketball" and challenged the community to raise $150,000 to start a football program! Their first "announcers booth" was a DEER STAND (without the deer BULLETS ). VERY polite, well spoken young men; they beat 3 time State Champions, Cameron. Great sportsmanship...before the final play the Cameron center reached across the line and congratulated the young men directly across from him before the ball was snapped. 
Awesome, close game to begin the weekend of State Finals in Houston.

Had never heard of the town or school...very fine, well raised young men! Good night at the Theater for DGD too; she had 15 relatives/friends/dance teacher...even her kindergarten teacher in the audience! She was on Cloud 9

We don't want stupid sandwiches, we want a hot meal.
Oh and she is making us pay for it. All the other offices are closing early and having their meal paid for by the company. Not our office, we have to use our lunch time and pay for it ourselves. Did I mention I hate my job.
We're having our stupid holiday "party" at the office today. Our boss wanted to have a pot luck and everyone bring in something. We all wanted to order out. So we mentioned a few places to order from. Boss put up a big stink but gave in. So she is ordering a stupid SANDWICH PLATTER.
You're not surprised, are you? Your boss is competing with son-in-laws boss for "Awful Boss of the Year" award. He closed on over 10 MILLION dollars worth of new homes in 2015 and his bonus was $250.00...that's two HUNDRED FIFTY dollars! 
You should have brought your lunch from home 
... at least you could have put some hot soup in a thermos. I'm sorry...hopefully 2016 will bring you a new job!

This is not in a monorail resort; it's hard to answer the DVC question since most of the deluxe resorts also have "DVC resorts" too so I'd have to say yes on that one.
