Where In The World 19.

is it sunday yet :(

It's going to be a looooong three days. Are you packed yet?

I hear you Jeff! :faint: Only ONE MORE DAY OF WORK for you and Saturday should be a busy one with last minute packing, etc....the next 4 days will go faster than you can believe! I had a hard time sleeping last night realizing that in exactly 2 weeks I'll be getting up at 3 AM to leave for the airport! I'm SO afraid I'll sleep through my alarm! :rotfl: It will be Sunday before you know it! :jumping1: :tink:

Park, resort or other?

Attraction, shop, or food service?

no :( I ordered new luggage and it has not arrived yet. if it is not here by tomorrow I will have to go to walmart and buy some cheap stuff for this trip

but we are pretty organized now and I know what I am taking I just need something to put it in lol

:yay::yay::yay: Oh hell Annie...AUGUST in TEXAS??? It's going to be hot, hot, HOT! The Hill Country is BEAUTIFUL though with some lovely scenery....sure hope the weather is nice when y'all are here. You'll be flying into the same airport we leave from in 2 weeks! It's on the small side and I LOVE it compared to the Houston airports...VERY easy access both in & out. Will the wedding be at a resort or ranch...or on Lake Travis...??? (Ed's sister lives in the Austin area too!) Lots of questions but I'm so excited for you and your family. Hope our Texas hospitality (and lots of air conditioning :rotfl2:) makes your stay enjoyable! :thumbsup2 :tink:

I have no idea where. My aunt just posted a brief update and said hill country, probably the weekend of August 6th but nothing confirmed so don't buy plane tickets. Joe's uncle also lives in Austin, so if we do go we may extend a couple of days to see him. Hot will be a welcome change...we toured more venues Monday and AGAIN it was cold and rainy. I'm over it.

I'll be honest ... while I'd love to have you visit Texas, it's SO hot in August. :sunny: Spring would be perfect...our beautiful bluebonnets and other wildflowers are plentiful in the Austin area but in the summer we just want to stay indoors or in the pool. :rotfl2: I'm so sorry you're having miserable days touring venues. It's hard to imagine a beautiful wedding when you're wet and cold. Hang in there...that special place is out there just waiting for you to find it! :thumbsup2 :tink:

Well that sucks. Hope it arrives today. I'm far from being organized; haven't even decided on a wardrobe yet! Uncertain weather in November makes it hard to decide what to pack. Good luck...hope that Walmart trip isn't necessary! :tink:

...but a little cool at night. Days sound perfect! As of now, just packing a light jacket for the evenings and hope the forecast is correct. There are showers scheduled the last 2 days we're there but only like 30%...no big deal. Hope that's the case for y'all too. :tink:

I'd send it back if it doesn't arrive in time! :scared: Denise...I'll be lucky if I get packed 2 DAYS before we leave, much less 2 WEEKS. :rotfl: Just looked at your forecast Jeff and I don't think you have anything to worry about...summer weather is right...only it will be nice summer weather, not that 100+ degree stuff! :yay: :tink:
