So I took yesterday off for a medical thing I had day surgery I get bad acid reflex so had a scope in the throat and they found a lot of scaring which has made my throat a bit smaller so they took some of it out and also expanded a balloon in my throat to stretch the scaring
So I also took today off just to feel a bit better before going back to work

Also I just realized this weekend is a long weekend

So I have work next to nothing this week lol and it's a short week next week too woot woot

I think I'd rather be at work than have a balloon in my throat! I hope that didn't hurt too bad. Sounds painful! I hope that fixes the acid reflex!

Sounds like a difficult procedure ... hope you were "asleep" when they did all that! That's gonna hurt for a few days...enjoy your "sick leave" and we'll be enjoying the long weekend with you! Gives you a chance to "fine tune" your trip ...by the time you back to work you'll be down to 2 months!

Sounds like a difficult procedure ... hope you were "asleep" when they did all that! That's gonna hurt for a few days...enjoy your "sick leave" and we'll be enjoying the long weekend with you! Gives you a chance to "fine tune" your trip ...by the time you back to work you'll be down to 2 months!

You're a good husband Jeff! I'm sure Emily will appreciate that clean house. I always tell my doctors "you can do anything you need to just put me to sleep" and they have! Sounds like they had "fun" with you too! And...a nice cup of warm coffee would feel good on that throat too .
