Oh well...guess it's time. You had a pretty adventurous summer. DGD's start Monday too; first soccer tournament is this weekend....back to "regular life".

Remember yesterday when I said you had to be a tough women to live in Texas? Proof in the Houston Chronicle this morning. The first 2 women EVER to complete the training for the ARMY RANGERS graduated this week...one of them was from Copperas Cove, TEXAS! DD and DGD's were up at 3:30 this morning to catch the flight back home. They landed on schedule in Austin a short time ago...MINUS a piece of luggage! At least it was the bag with all the dirty clothes...at least she won't have to do laundry when she gets home!

I saw that yesterday, I didn't realize one was from Texas. Hope you DD gets her luggage back.

I saw that yesterday, I didn't realize one was from Texas. Hope you DD gets her luggage back.

I hope so too. At least most of the clothes can't be used for school; of course, it included DD's favorite pair of shorts! She thinks it's probably still in Houston...they changed planes at Hobby for the last (45 minute ) flight to Austin. The other young lady that made it through the Ranger training was from Connecticut! There's a story running on FOX News right now...they graduate this Friday.

Yes...this is one of those "animal things" that I have no clue what they're suppose to be! I'm just looking for the main color of "the thing".

I looked through my parade pictures and I couldn't find any animal with legs like that. Is it just an animal or is it one that has people on it?

It's one of the animals with a person under it controlling the strange creature. The main 2 colors are different from the colors in these horns.

We are too ; should be delivered via Fed Ex before noon tomorrow. Fall is "in the air" (for now ) after our rain shower this afternoon. Beautiful evening in the pool. A little cool but so quiet...and my "pet" bunny (he lives somewhere in the backyard) was out bouncing all over the yard.
