How quickly things change; our little Katie Bug has the FLU! Was NOT expecting that! Her doctor tested her and she received the dubious title, "ZERO patient for '13 flu season in Bellville"! More to follow; one of her classmates went home sick yesterday and her BFF's little brother is at the doctor now. Message to all across our nation (and neighboring nations ) get your flu shot! DH and I had ours about 4 weeks ago; DD got hers THIS MORNING (which won't help her a bit...needs 2 weeks to "work"). Looks like this Mama has a few LONG weeks ahead of her.... (...and no football game tomorrow ...will need to put my "nurse hat" on...)

Was wondering if anyone would catch the clue of the silver platter in the crop....and Jeff did! This is from Liberty Square.

Good for you! I don't think your pregnant wife would want to take care of YOU right now! Hopefully that will protect you; youngest DD refuses to get a shot. The past 2 years she has...and the SHOT has given her the flu!

She's going "downhill" fast. Poor baby....

Youngest DD is the same way; her doctor pushes her every year to get the shot. She has the last 2 years...and got the flu. So this year she didn't just "no"; she said "hell no"! Jeff needs to stay healthy for sure this winter season!
