Hahaha... maybe we need a thread that is just to post pictures of ourselves and not our kids. Of course I need someone to take a picture of me. I'm always the one taking the pictures. I think I'm going to do the photopass on our upcoming visit. That's the only way I'm going to get a picture with me in it.

Here is a bigger crop which may help. I looked for a wider photo than I have on google and didnt find these exact stairs, just the area in front of them...so that's just a hint not to look too hard there!

You can barely see the stairs and the brown door in the back to the left of a big tree trunk. It's a good place to rest and have a snack as it's usually deserted (except for the people waiting to meet Jasmine and Aladdin)

You can barely see the stairs and the brown door in the back to the left of a big tree trunk. It's a good place to rest and have a snack as it's usually deserted (except for the people waiting to meet Jasmine and Aladdin)

Isn't that where the old restaurant was? I read somewhere a rumor that they may open it back up.

It was an Aladdin dinner show, then a kiddie show, then an Indy show. Right now it is only for Jasmine, Aladdin, and Genie M&G's.

But we like to go in there just to get out of the crowds and eat our "home brought" snacks at an actual table.

In disney terms it is mostly wasted real estate waiting for something new.
I hope you are right about something going in there! (even if I lose my secret lunch spot!)

I just Googled it, because I thought I remembered another name. It was the Tahitian Terrace from 1962 to 1993 when it changed to the Aladdin diner theater. The rumor I read was they were bringing back the original restaurant.
