Just browsing the onlinr brochure for next year on the disneyland paris website and on the half board meals page which shows the restaurants there is no lucky nugget!

We have just booked to eat here one lunchtime at Christmas so I was interested to know if anyone is aware of what is happening :confused3

Looks like cowboy cookout is now a main restaurant and they are having the character meal there instead. Hope we will be ok for our trip. Thinking I might change the booking now :sad2:

You're right - just checked the brochure and the 3 character dining locations are Auberge, Cafe Mickey and Cowboy Cookout. Cookout is doing both the character teaparty and lunch/dinner (dinner subject to park opening hours), to quote:
"Take a walk on the wildside ....... at Cowboy Cookout Barbeque in Frontierland. Get a load of tex-mex specialities with some of the most beloved Disney Characters". Lunch is 12-3, dinner subject to opening hours. Not a buffet like Lucky Nugget was - children get "a special menu with drink and suprise" and adults have a choice of appetisers, main course and deserts. £23 adults, £12 children if pre-booked.

n.b. its only shown in the "from 6 April 2011" column, so may not be able to get it before then, assume you still get characters at Luckyt Nugget till then?

Looks interesting, I was disappointed in the Nugget last time, so hopefully in May we can try Cowboy Cookout.

Yeah that's the bit I read too. Was just wondering why it's not listed on the restaurant list at all from April? Is it going or turning into a counter service or perhaps it's being altered or refurbed?

Intersesting that they are turning a counter service (cowboy cookout) into a restaurant so perhaps they are doing a complete swap :confused3

:confused3

It's been a few years since we last ate at The Luckey Nugget but we'd had some great times in there ~ it was such a shame it seemed to have gone downhill. I wonder what's going to happen to it.
