Where EXACTLY are SOG buses located at each park?

We've never stayed at Shades of Green (SOG) before. August will be our first trip to this resort. Our son is in the US Air Force and this is his first trip ever to WDW. We are taking advantage of a great military discount and staying here for the first time.
I've read that SOG has their own buses. But I can not find anywhere on the boards where the SOG buses pick up/drop off at the parks. I don't recall seeing them assigned a space where WDW buses dock. Does anyone know of a map? Is the walk much farther?

Buses rotate based on needs, no specific location. When you disembark at the park, the CM will tell you where to pick up the bus to your resort and there will be a map showing the locations for that day.

As of a few years ago...............

At each of the parks there is an area that many charter busses use. For MK it is actually at the TTC. For DHS it is located in the closest parking lot. In EP, it is located near the bus stops for the various Disney resort stops, but kind of out near the middle of the lot. For AK the area is like the others.............an area where charter busses are supposed to use.

The good news is that the SOG busses were operated on a very precise schedule so we were never surprised with how long we might have had to wait for the next one.

In some cases there was a slightly longer walk to the SOG bus location and there was no shelter of an kind.

Your memory was correct---the SOG busses do not pick up/drop off at the traditional locations, but the walking difference is only about 2-3 minutes more.

No buses from SOG to MK or Epcot. Instead, they have buses to TTC where you board the monorail to Epcot, or your choice of monorail or ferryboat to MK. The bus lot at TTC is under reconstruction, so I'm not sure exactly where the SOG load zone is right now, but it's along the curb, not out in the lot. There are currently parking cms stationed there to assist Guests, and you can always ask at the bus info booth as well.

At DHS, it's currently at load zone 39, which is opposite where the buses from DHS to Epcot & DAK load. Walk out to the charter lot between load zones 11 & 12, and straight across the crosswalk. It's actually closer than some of the Disney resort load zones.

At DAK, they pick up in the charter bus lot. You walk to the left of the tram lane, and there's a sidewalk that runs between the tram lane & handicapped parking right to the charter lot.

At DTD, there are a pair of load zones, A & B, that are off by themselves near the PI bus depot. You can walk out from PI past the last Disney load zone, or there's also a walkway from Marketplace near the South American chicken place. That area is slated to be included in the PI redevelopment, but I don't know whether it will be impacted before August.

Just wondering now if anyone knows how hard the walk is from the Poly to SOG? We may just walk to Poly and use the monorail for MK.

It's about a 10 minute walk. I think they also still run the Shady Shuttle, a golf cart that takes you about 2/3 of the way.

We walk most days. It's about 10-15 minute walk.
