Where everybody knows Bill’s Name *New 4/6 A picture with a DISer & pimping my PTR**

Wasn't Mulch, Sweat and Shears great? We finally caught half a performance and really enjoyed it! I couldn't believe how un-crowded the parade route was in your pictures. It's usually shoulder to shoulder and three deep in mid-October when we've been.

I was a bad mama on our last trip--we were enjoying some low-key time after just coming out of the animation studio and I heard the music....dd did not....I turn dh the other way and say Let's see if it's time for our TSM fast pass! Keep swimming, keep swimming....that's what we did against zillions of people because I'm the mean mom that was just not feelin' the parade love that day! I promise to let dd catch it in December!

Mulch, Sweat, and Shears are great!! We will be going to see them again on the next trip :thumbsup2.

The parade route was crowded, that is actually right where they come out which is not far from the first aid station that we were coming from.

LOL that is not being a bad mama, that is just not wanting to deal with the parade that day. I was not a parade person until Bill made me stay and watch one. I always wanted to do things during the parade instead of watching it.

Glad you got to see Mulch, Sweat and Shears. I just love all of the Street Performers at DHS, one of the things this park does better than the others.

How was the root beer float at 50's. I always get the picnic punch (yes, it has alcohol) but I do love a good root beer float. (Kimmy, take note, I love root beer floats. In case we have a chance to get over there in May.)

And how cool that you met delswife's brother. The world is a small place.

We loved Mulch, Sweat, and Shears, you are so right about the Street Performers at DHS, I have a story about them on our last day.

Yes, he loved it. He doesn't drink a lot and I am always hounding him to drink more liquids, but put a 50's shake in front of him and he will drink it all.

The funny thing about meeting Robin's brother is that I didn't know it was her brother at the time. She posted pictures of him on her blog after we got back and I was like "hey that is the guy from DHS". He was really nice to us and so was the woman he was with.

Great update Tracy! I have never eaten at 50's PTC but I hope to someday soon! That float looks delicious!!:goodvibes

Hi Sara!! We love 50's, we went 3 times this year - June, October, and November 2008 :rotfl:.

We came off the elevator in our building this afternoon and there was a lady with these:

The card said:

"Even though it is close to Valentine's Day that is not the reason I'm sending these roses.

It has been a while since I have shown you how much I love you,

Love , Bill

Of course I cried

. He is amazing.

Aw Tracy, those are so beautiful!! You are such a lucky woman!! (I'm pretty sure Bill feels he is a pretty lucky guy too!)

(Kimmy, take note, I love root beer floats. In case we have a chance to get over there in May.)

You know this is a lot of responsibility.... I'll add this to Missa's list of things to remember. :thumbsup2 I'll be much to busy floating around SAB

Tracy, I hope you don't mind but I'm going to borrow your roses for myself. My husband and I bought a pricey piece of art so agreed that we are doing nothing else for Valentine's Day. We've been married 25 years and this will be the first year I will not have flowers. Now that's a reason to cry. ;)

How sweet! The best gifts are always the ones that are for no reason other than to say I love you. You've got a good man! ;)

Awww! What pretty flowers, Tracy! Now, please pass the kleenex...

Whoops! I cannot believe I missed your last chapter! Where was I?

Oh, and I have to show Ed the picture of your beautiful (and very sentimental) bouquet of roses....

This afternoon (day before Valentine's) he announces that he's going to Walgreen's to get cards and on the way out, he asked, "You don't really need flowers or anything like that, right?"

:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Well, that's what you get after 14 years of marriage. (That card better be BIG!!!)

Bill, you are sweet!

Kathy
