WE ARE HEADED TO WDW IN JULY. ONLY OTHER WDW TRIP WAS IN 2000. MY DH AND DS (11) ARE NOT VERY DARING EATERS. THESE ARE THE PS'S I HAVE SO FAR AND WOULD LIKE SOME INPUT AS WHAT ELSE TO TRY. WE ARE STAYING AT THE YC IN THE JR SUITE, SO HAVE CONCIERGE SERVICE AVAILABLE TO US. WILL PROBABLY EAT MOST OF OUR BREAKFASTS HERE. WE HAVE THE ULTIMATE PARK HOPPER PASSES, SO GOING PARK TO PARK ISN'T AN ISSUE.

DAY ONE: SUPPER AT THE GARDEN GRILL
DAY TWO: LATE BREAKFAST (11:10 AM) 1900 PARK FARE
SUPPER AT CAPE MAY CAFE
DAY THREE: EARLY SUPPER (4:30 PM) MAMA MELROSES
DAY FOUR: LUNCH SOMEWHERE AT DOWNTOWN DISNEY???
LATE SUPPER (8:00 PM) 'OHANA
DAY FIVE: LUNCH AT CINDRELLA'S ROYAL TABLE
SUPPER SOMEWHERE AT EPCOT???
DAY SIX: NOTHING PLANNED SO FAR
DAY SEVEN: LUNCH AT 50'S PRIME TIME
DAY EIGHT: NOTHING PLANNED (WILL PROBABLY BE LEAVING MID-AFTERNOON.

THANKS FOR THE HELP!

BOMA BOMA BOMA -- I can't say it enough. Great food. Something for everyone.

The only place we've eaten in Downtown Disney is Wolfgang Puck downstairs for lunch and we enjoyed it. I had some awesome soup and my kids had pizza that they really enjoyed.

There's also a place across form WP that has the most awesome chocolate dipped strawberries, I don't know the name of it, but they are sooooooooo good. MUCH better than Gihardelli's . Might be a nice dessert.

Epcot--- Le Cellier

For your free day--- I'm eating at Boma's twice next trip, once for breakfast and once for dinner just because I've heard such good things about it.

Have you thought of Hoop de Doo on your free day??? Buckets of great food and fun entertainment.

I agree with Renighh...BOMA!! it is an adventure in itself!!! Try going to the boardwalk too its ...they have spoodles which was GREAT and the Flying fish too!!

If you are not very adventurous BOMA may not be your best choice. We loved it as did our DS who is 12. He tried alot of things that I never thought he would and loved them all. It is a wonderful meal. Kona Cafe is also our favorite (POLY). It has great food for dinner and the desserts are displayed at a table where you can watch the dessert chef make it for you. DS loved it and got some huge cone attched to plate with choc and filled with ice cream M&M's and whatever!
I also second Spoodles..it is a place where you can make a meal out of many appetizers shared amongst you. It is very good.

On Day 5 - after your big lunch at Cinderella's Table, how about a nice counter service place at Epcot? Try Yakitori House in Japan, for a great low price, and some asian food in a beautiful garden. Stick around for a good viewing spot for Illuminations.

Hi! I don't know where you are, so Rainforest Cafe may not be a big deal to you. They have one in DTD; and we always enjoy eating there. Some people feel like it's not that great and is over priced; but we have always enjoyed whatever we've ordered. Plus the atmosphere is really neat.

ESPN Zone at the Boardwalk is also pretty good for the not so adventurous eater. The atmosphere would probably be a big hit with an 11 yo boy too.:D (and dh too!)

I will second Le Cellier for cheese soup and steaks. Since you are staying at the YC there is the Clambake Buffet and Beaches and Cream at the BC.

How about Le Cellier at Epcot and then walk over to Beaches and Cream for a sundae, yummy!!!!

Boma's dinner buffet might be a bit too "out there" if you're not adventurous eaters, but their breakfast buffet is WONDERFUL! I have never eaten so much at breakfast in my life! If you want to explore AKL and eat at Boma, I would recommend having a late breakfast there one day.

I too am what would be catagorized as a 'unadventurous' eater, though I like to call myself a 'meat and potatoes' man.

My favorite spot in DTD is House of Blues, great, simple food, awesome atmosphere and music and the service has always been great.

I know most people like to steer clear of chains but we don't have these where I'm from so its one of my 'must visits' in WDW and Vegas.
